McEldon plays with a lot of strength and physicality, attacking the basket through contact, getting to the free throw line, and battling against multiple defenders to secure rebounds and finish for an and-one. She has good footwork and knows how to create space, using her pivot foot to get away from three defenders and pull up for a jumper, and showing she can knock down the three. She’s vocal on the court, helps organize her teammates offensively, and makes plays defensively with her hands and shot-blocking, putting together an impressive 21-point performance against Oak Hill.

McEldon is a consistent double-double threat, and had her veratility on display at The Challenge as Ireton picked up two victories. She’s got great size at 6-foot-2, but her skill, vision and overall feel really stand out. They make her a matchup nightmare on the offensive end, and allow her to guard multiple positions defensively.

Nina has exceptional skill for her size. She handles the ball like a guard and does a good job using her body to protect it when defenders apply pressure. She can also face up and create off the dribble, showing the ability to pull up and knock down the jumper. Nina rebounded the ball well and was comfortable starting the offense herself after securing the board. Her combination of size, ballhandling, rebounding, and perimeter skill gives her the versatility to play multiple positions and impact the game in a variety of ways.

Nina brings size to the floor, showing the versatility to handle the ball, grab a defensive rebound, and push it up the court herself. She communicates in transition to get her team organized and reads the floor well, while also using her pivot foot to escape pressure and find an open teammate when trapped. She is strong on the boards but can also move without the ball, flashing into space and showing a reliable touch on her jumper.

Nina is a very impressive rising sophomore who continues to show why she is a prospect with significant long-term potential. Possessing a strong frame and good size for the small forward position, she has the physical tools to compete at a high level while still having plenty of room for growth and development.

What stands out most about Nina is her basketball IQ and maturity. She plays with a poise that is uncommon for a player her age, consistently making smart decisions and understanding how to impact the game in a variety of ways. Offensively, she can score from multiple areas on the court and displays a soft touch around the basket and on her jump shot. She also runs the floor exceptionally well, creating easy scoring opportunities in transition and putting constant pressure on opposing defenses.

Nina’s combination of size, skill, and feel for the game makes her one of the more intriguing young prospects to watch. She performed well in front of numerous high-major Division I coaches and undoubtedly caught the attention of many programs in attendance. With her work ethic, natural talent, and continued development, Nina possesses tremendous upside and has all the tools to become a highly recruited prospect in the years ahead.

Nina has a really good especially for her size. It sometimes appears that her hands are swallowing up the ball which gives her a little advantage to occasionally cuff the ball. She rebounded well at over eleven boards per game gathering the ball at it’s highest point allowing her to get into transition immediately. She had a monster 22 point 13 rebound performance in the win over Perkiomen.

Currently ranked as the number 2 prospect in the state, was very productive and efficient. Only playing 18 minutes she scored 22 points on 9 for 14 shooting! Nina was also able to grab 13 rebounds in a blowout win!

McEldon may have the size of a post player, but she handles the ball like a guard, making her a matchup nightmare. She’ll bring the ball up in transition and facilitate as she showcases her composure and footwork against pressure. She’ll knock down threes in addition to making herself known on the glass.

Nina serves as a steady floor general, organizing her team’s offense and making sure everyone is in the right position. Even when defenses throw double teams at her, she remains calm and makes the correct read to find the open teammate. She’s also a reliable three-point shooter and uses her strength effectively around the basket, where she finishes well through contact.

McEldon’s blend of size, skill, and versatility immediately made her one of the most intriguing freshmen in the area. At 6-foot-2, she stretches the floor with perimeter shooting while also rebounding and finishing effectively inside. Her ability to create matchup problems against older competition helped fuel Bishop Ireton’s championship-level season.
