Jones is part of a loaded GRC roster who may not be challenged on the road to Rupp. If they get there, Khania has the potential to a big time difference maker in a likely first round game against Sacred Heart. Khania struggled against the Valkyries last time they faced off, going 1-6 from the field. If she can get closer to 10 points and 8+ rebounds, Jones can be the difference in a potential rematch with SHA.

It’s safe to call Jones a walking double-double after she finished her sophomore season averaging 10.5 PPG and 11.1 RPG. Defensively, she is as disruptive as they come. She can elevate to block shots, grab rebounds, and to get steals or deflections. To put it simply, she has a knack for getting her hands on the ball. Offensively, she continues to grow her game and now has an ability to knock down outside shots on top of her strong inside game. When she catches on the perimeter, she can make things happen off the dribble. Jones is also a very strong rebounder on both ends of the court.

Jones has a lot of speed and her defensive instincts are excellent. She goes after rebounds strong and she seems to come up with boards that most players wouldn’t be able to get to using her length and athleticism. Jones can shift around the rim to give herself better scoring opportunities and she showed her ability to finish at the basket this Summer. She can really elevate to get deflections and steals on the defensive side of the floor. I expect Jones’ stats to go up exponentially this season as she begins her sophomore year with her Central Hardin squad.
