Jailenn proved she is more than ready for the big stage, delivering a standout performance on Day 1 of the Sweet 16. She got things rolling with back-to-back buckets, showing her ability to run the floor and got rewarded in transition. Her speed and awareness made her a constant threat, as she consistently capitalized on fast-break opportunities. Jailenn also displayed a silky smooth mid-range game, knocking down shots with confidence. Her all-around play and ability to adapt to the moment showed she belongs under the brightest lights.

Really like her game. Does nothing exceptionally flashy, but she’s just always impacting the game. Has a really nice midrange jumper. Plays with great confidence. Really carried TN Sol in the first half, showing off a nice euro finish in transition. And another bucket in transition. She’s just DIFFERENT.
Came out in the 2nd half attacking the rim hard. The lefty just continued in the 2nd half. Went on a 5-0 run all by herself. Defensively she had two HIGH LEVEL blocks. Ultra competitive kid. She’s going to make a college program so much better.

The lefty just makes things happen. Got in passing lanes, created points off turnovers. Made passes on time and on target. Brought great energy. Really nice float game. Hit the 3 ball. Tremendous on the ball defender.

Green stepped up in a big way and was the main scoring threat for GRC in this game. She played with confidence and did a great job finding ways to get a bucket, showing that she is a 3-level scorer. “JG” made an impact on defense as well by coming up with steals and getting the ball to open teammates on the fast break for layups the other way. She led all scorers with 15 points along with 7 boards.
