There are not too many players that can boast about winning a state championship in their first season at the varsity level. Fulton is not one’s typical 2030 prospect. During May’s live period, she was at Nike Session 2 in New Orleans as she played up in class on the AEBL 15U team. It was during last year’s travel season where Fulton secured an offer from Newberry College. Fulton would play in 29 games last season for 5A Division 1 Blythewood and averaged 9.4 points per game. She helped the Bengals’ cause in the state championship game against Wando with an eight-point performance. 

While 5A Division 1 defending champion Blythewood’s much-ballyhooed veterans make up the nucleus of its roster, coach Emily McElveen’s Bengals are getting a glimpse of their future. Fulton denotes said immediate future and she provided 12 points to help the Bengals to a 51-42 win over 5A Division 1 showcase host Clover. Fulton was especially effective from behind the arc as she connected on three attempts from distance. She understands the art of being active even when the ball is not in her hands and is displaying leadership qualities of someone blossoming into a prospect to keep on one’s radar. 

There are not too many 2030s that can say they secured a collegiate offer following their seventh-grade season. Fulton is not one’s garden variety eighth grader. Back during the summer, she secured an offer from Newberry College and head coach Johnette Walker who knows how to spot in-state talent. As she attends Muller Road M.S., one can assume the Bengals of Blythewood – defending 5A Division 1 state champions – are in the future of the SC Future product. The fact that she is already playing AAU with Twelve Time – Ja Morant’s team – is a testament to where she already is as a player. As her profile rises, more collegiate offers will certainly be in her future.
