Missy Evezic Missy Evezic 6'4" | C St. Albert | 2024 State IA is doing exactly what she should with the natural size she has been gifted. She is taking up productive space in the lane and making almost every shot she takes near the hoop. In her teams 15+ point win on Thursday night, Evezic scored 22 points on 9/10 shooting, while grabbing 8 rebounds. Something important to note about this stat line is that within these 22 points, was 4 free throw attempts. Each attempt was made by Evezic showing everyone watching that they can’t just try to foul her once she catches at the basket. This makes defenses have to play a complete different style when they go up against St. Albert’s. I’m not sure of her college aspirations but I know a school or two out there would love Evezic on their roster. She works hard, produces at a steady rate, and has a positive attitude. Those are three things a college coach, loves to coach.

Missy Evezic Missy Evezic 6'4" | C St. Albert | 2024 State IA demonstrated some real promise this AAU spring/summer season and I’m ready to see more of it this winter at St. Albert’s High School. Evezic is one of the tallest players throughout the state of Iowa and she lets that be known each and every contest. She stands at 6’4 and has some muscle mass to go along with that as well. This is one of those players that as a coach, you can set up for success each time down the floor. If Evezic can get some screening action away from the ball, so that she can cleanly catch in the lane, it’s over for smaller defenders. Another “gift” this team and Evezic has is the ability to set some major screens. If these screens aren’t spoken about ahead of time, I expect St. Albert’s to dominate their matchup. All in all, I would keep an eye on Missy moving forward. There is some foundation here to build on and I can’t wait to see that unfold over the next few months.

Missy Evezic Missy Evezic 6'4" | C St. Albert | 2024 State IA is a player that I mentioned this spring in the state of Nebraska because of her play on the AAU circuit. Well, now she joins us in the 2024 rankings at #55. Evezic is a 6’3 center with a good frame. She works early on possessions to gain position and that usually leads to an easy bucket for herself over smaller opponent. Her height and athleticism help her grab several rebounds per game on both sides of the floor, as well as help her record at least a block or two per contest. This July leading into winter definitely keep an eye on Missy. Someone with her mix of size, skill, and strength cannot be ignored.

A player that was big all season long for her high school team and who is prepped for a big spring/summer AAU run is Missy Evezic Missy Evezic 6'4" | C St. Albert | 2024 State IA of St. Alberts high school. Evezic is a powerful center with a lot of intangibles out of the post position. She is very good at using her size and keeping it simple to dominate smaller defenders. At the same time she is very skilled. If someone is able to stop her going one way, she is able to counter and re-attack. Something that is quiet impressive to witness. It’s not doubt in my mind that Evezic is a center/power forward to be known going into this spring. She is going to be putting up some big numbers with her OSA 2024 National team, all across the country. If she keeps working and stays dedicated, she is going to be a steal for a college program out there somewhere in the near future.
