Brandon Fisher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Pippi makes the move from the GUAA circuit to EYBL this weekend as she debuts with 16U Southern Starz in New Orleans, bringing one of the more polished all-around guard skill sets in the region with her. A bigger guard who moves extremely well without the ball, one of the strongest parts of her game is her passing ability and feel as a playmaker, consistently making smart reads and keeping offensive flow intact. She also shoots the ball efficiently both on the move and in tight spaces which allows her to create offense without needing much separation. Pippi already holds multiple D1 offers with more to come soon.

has been leading her team in scoring all season, and that has not changed in the playoffs as she looks to take her team to the state tournament. Boyer has scored 20+ points in her last four games, including a 42-point performance. She shows no signs of slowing down as she continues to build confidence and earn the trust of her teammates and coaches to play freely and within the flow of the game.

Victoria “Pippi” Boyer has the length, speed, agility, and strength to guard all five positions on the floor. She has the ball handling skills and calmness under pressure to bring the ball up the court, along with the shooting ability to score off the catch, off the dribble, or coming off screens.
She also has the footwork to score in tight spaces and the grit to battle for rebounds. Defensively, she plays the passing lanes well and creates steals wherever she is needed on the floor. At 5’10”, close to 6 feet, she can create mismatches all over the court and contribute in every area of the game.

Pippi has the skill and frame to remain at the top of this class for the long haul. Her versatility, fundamentals, and basketball IQ stand out, and she is already a household name in St. Lucie County. As a freshman, she leads her team in scoring at 16.7 points per game while adding 4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 2.1 steals. With each valuable rep she gains, her confidence continues to grow, cementing her status as one of the highest-ceiling players in the 2029 class.

Pippi was unsurprisingly one of the top players in the gym and often had to get things done on her own. I can’t emphasize enough about how her body control is so next level in this class. She hit a really nice fade away during 3×3, and was physical on defense by working to get around the post players when she had to match up against them due to her height. Her maturity and poise really showed at this event as she didn’t let anything get under her skin and just went out there and competed with what she was given.

only needed one play this travel ball season to show just how special she is. Her game is well beyond her age, and she already possesses a well-rounded offensive skill set. She is a pure scorer who can score at all three levels—shooting threes off the dribble or catch, pulling up from mid-range, and finishing creatively around the rim. Victoria is also what we call a “phone booth scorer,” able to create her own shot off the dribble and still get a bucket.
And she’s just getting started. Combined with her athleticism and motor, she is quick on the court and can change direction with ease. As her basketball IQ continues to develop, Victoria has a legitimate case to be the top player in the state by her senior year and potentially a nationally ranked player. That said, there are other talented players in this article, making the competition for that top spot in the state intense.

Pippi is a familiar name for those who follow girls basketball in South Florida and the entire Sunshine State. She’s one of the most well-rounded players in the class and is a shoe-in to be a P4 recruit. The combination of her size, skill, IQ, motor, and relentlessness on both sides of the ball are going to take her far. Pippi is an exciting prospect that I encourage anyone to go watch!

Pippi is easily a Top 3 player in the 2029 class in Florida. She shoots it so well and has really nice elevation on her jumper. On defense, she has very active hands that cause a ton of deflections. Her body control, skill, and feel for the game is going to have her in conversation for the top hooper in her class.

There aren’t any real holes in her game: she can shoot, defend, dribble, rebound, pass, cut, and compete at the highest level. Her ceiling is higher than anyone can see. Even as a member of the Class of 2029, Pippi has the ability to lead any team to a winning season or a championship.
