Jayla Oden | 5’6 G | McDonogh 2021
Junior Jayla Oden is a prospect you should know about. My prediction is that she will be highly recruited going into the 2020-2021 season but its not to late to put your chips in now. Jayla has a uptempo style of play, consistently generating plays and keeping everyone on their game. She engages on defense as well and is quickly becoming one of the leaders on this team. Currently ranked #6 on Prep Girls Hoops 2021 rankings, this could be a very special season for Jayla Oden.
Eniya Russell | 5’11 G | Institute of Notre Dame 2020
At 5’11 playing the guard position, Eniya Russell is very tough to defend. This highly recruited athlete has already committed to the University of South Carolina as she gets ready to kick off her senior year. Total domination is what one would expect from Eniya Russell this season. She can choose to shoot over you or simply go around you, using her size as a weapon. Eniya makes everything look easy and if you leave her too much space, she will indeed drop it on you.
Daimoni Dorsey | 5’7 G | St. Francis Academy 2022
Sophmore guard Daimoni Dorsey is currently ranked #48 on Prep Girls Hoops 2022 rankings. A role player during her freshman year, Daimoni looks to elevate her role during the 19-20 season. What makes this season special, Daimoni is pairing up with her little sister Kameryn Dorsey and rumors are swirling that this could be the best back court in the DMV. You add that to an elite roster already featuring the number one athlete in the state (Angel Reese), watch out for St. Francis Academy once again this season.
