- Angel Reese – Saint Frances AcademyIn what is understood as her “Victory Lap”, Reese has all intentions of leaving a lasting impression for her Senior campaign. So far this season, Reese has averaged 21 PPG while shooting 64% from the field. Based on her track record over the years, Reese will surely continue this trend for the remainder for the season, as well as the postseason.
- Ayannah Matthews – Arundel High SchoolMatthews is beginning to come into her own during her Junior year at Arundel High. She has led the Lady Wildcats to a 3-1 record thus far, largely due to her averaging 17.3 PPG, while shooting 61% from the field. Expect Matthews to continue to have high scoring games throughout the season, as well as leading Arundel High to more victories; both short and long term.
- Kristin Sterling – Pikesville High SchoolThe Lady Panthers have all intentions of becoming back-to-back champs this year, while being led by Sterling. In her Junior campaign, Sterling has averaged 18 PPG despite shooting only 46% from the field. Expect Sterling’s percentage to increase as the season develops since she is Pikesville’s number one scoring option.
- Jazmine Washington – Oakland Mills High SchoolIn her Senior year, Washington has led the Lady Scorpions to an respectable 2-1 record. What is even more respectable is that Washington has done so while averaging 23.5 PPG. What should also be noted is Washington averaging 10 RPG, which will allows second chance points for Washington’s average. Look for Washington to keep scoring at such a high volume for this season.
