The Class 3A ranks have plenty of outstanding players that just happen to be underclassmen. What team will prevail come this March ?
<strong>Keenan HS (7-2)</strong>

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124104" first="Milaysia" last="Fulwiley"]</strong> is the best player in the 2023 Palmetto State Class. The Lady Raiders have played just 9 games this season with some stoppages because of Covid-19 Protocols. Fulwiley can really score the ball from anywhere on the floor. Can the Raiders win another Class 3A State Championship come this March ?
<strong>Camden HS (13-3)</strong>

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171798" first="Joyce" last="Edwards"]</strong> and the Lady Bulldogs have just been humming along all year. The Lady Bulldogs are currently (11-0) against teams from the State of South Carolina. The Bulldogs have lost to Lake Highland Prep (FL) 73-60, St Francis (GA) 57-52 and Providence Day (NC) 51-50 this season. Edwards (2024) is already over 1,300 career points and is just a freshman. Edwards is averaging 27.9 ppg, 14.5 rebounds, 5.9 steals and 4.8 assists.

The Lady Bulldogs this season will finally be back in the Lower State playing in the postseason.<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="175354" first="Imani" last="Wyatt"]</strong> 11.8 ppg and 4.8 rebounds, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171806" first="Zyasia" last="Carter"]</strong> 8.2 ppg, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="195518" first="Deanna" last="Jeffcoat"]</strong> 7.4 ppg and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="175325" first="Morgan" last="Champion"]</strong> 7.2 ppg provide plenty support to the the lineup.
<strong>Southside HS (Greenville) (9-0) </strong>

The Lady Tigers have been perfect under Head Coach Milton Parks this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="196311" first="Kamari" last="Thompson"]</strong> is leading the way this season at 17.6 ppg and 14.2 rebounds a night. Sophomore point guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="176203" first="Quayla" last="Nolan"]</strong> is chipping in at 7.1 ppg and 3.7 assists. Freshman <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="194865" first="Jakayla" last="Lorick"]</strong> is seeing good minutes this season while averaging 5.3 ppg.
<strong>Blue Ridge HS (10-2)</strong>

The Lady Tigers have lost to Southside HS 58-47 back on January 19, 2021. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124101" first="Quadaija" last="Langley"]</strong> is averaging 19.6 ppg, 4.7 steals and 3.8 assists this season. Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="252637" first="Maggie" last="Strout"]</strong> comes in at 11.9 ppg and 7.9 rebounds while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="252636" first="Zi" last="Henderson"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="252633" first="Anyah" last="Henderson"]</strong> both chime in at 6.7 ppg and 5.3 respectively.

<strong>Wren HS (Piedmont) (12-2) </strong>
The Golden Hurricanes currently (8-1) in the region have split with Daniel HS in the region. Wren HS only other loss is to Woodmont HS 55-40 back before Christmas. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124113" first="Riley" last="Stack"]</strong> is averaging 17.3 ppg, 11.3 rebounds and 6.1 blocks this season. Stack has swatted away 85 shots so far this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="175308" first="Raina" last="McGowens"]</strong> is stuffing the stat sheet at 15.1 ppg, 5.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists a night.

<strong>Bishop England HS (9-1) </strong>
The Battling Bishops have now won 110 straight region games over the years. Bishop England looks to be shutting it down until the playoffs start up in a few weeks. Head Coach Paul Runey told the Post & Courier that is team is going into bubble until the playoffs start. Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171738" first="Jaiha" last="Williams"]</strong> provides leadership in the back court for the Battling Bishops. Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="207410" first="Ally" last="Dominiak"]</strong> has provided a solid spark to the roster this season while averaging 12.5 ppg.

<strong>Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS (6-1) </strong>
The Bruinettes have a big showdown with Storm Thurmond HS next week for the region.<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="124099" first="Shar’dasia" last="Zeigler"]</strong> recently committed to South Carolina State University. Zeigler just a junior is averaging 25 ppg and 6.7 assists this season.
<strong>Fairfield Central HS (Winnsboro) (5-1) </strong>

Yarborough averaging 9.2 ppg and 6.8 rebounds.
<strong>Strom Thurmond HS (Johnston) (8-1) </strong>
The Lady Rebels have a big game with Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS next week. The Lady Rebels rely on the duo of <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="241662" first="Deondra" last="Jones"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="173108" first="Talayah" last="Hamilton"]</strong>. Jones is averaging 16.1 ppg, 8.7 rebounds and 3.6 steals this season while Hamilton is adding 11.2 ppg.

<strong>Lower Richland HS (Hopkins) (3-2) </strong>
The Diamond Hornets have been led by <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124093" first="Anala" last="Nelson"]</strong> 21.8 ppg and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="234751" first="Tyra" last="Floyd"]</strong> 17.6 ppg this season. Lower Richland HS has 2 losses this season to rival Keenan HS.
<strong>Crestwood HS (Dalzell) (3-1) </strong>
The Lady Knights have just returned from a long hiatus.
<strong>Marlboro County HS (Bennettsville) (3-2) </strong>
The Lady Bulldogs have shutdown the season it looks like because of Covid-19. The decision came this week. The Lady Bulldogs last played Camden HS and lost 68-44 on January 29, 2021.
