<span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>COBRA UNITED TIP-OFF National Christian vs Friendship Collegiate</strong></span>
In a game against two programs that have had their struggles over the past couple of seasons this was a pleasant surprise to see the comeback they both have made.  James "Boogie" Washington and Stef Haskins two guys that have coached together with Havoc City Elite and both having success as head coaches at defunct programs meet again at National Christian Academy and Friendship Collegiate respectively.  Both are excellent recruiters with an eye for talent and seem to have these programs moving in the right direction.  NCA got up on the Knights and never looked back winning 76-24 with an impressive 23-0 fourth quarter against the Knights bench.  There was talent on both sides that need to be tracked moving forward.  Here are some of the standout players.
<strong>Deniya Prawl - 6’0" - Wing/Guard - National Christian Academy - 2025</strong>
<a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/DSC_0721-scaled-crop-2049x1345-1638802916.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-361012" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/DSC_0721-scaled-crop-2049x1345-1638802916-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a>
Deniaya was the best player on the court and may possibly be the best freshman in the region.  She scored a game high 18 points but the way she did it was what was more impressive.  She rebounded and started the break, handled the ball well in transition.  She was able to finish in a variety of ways elevating over defenders on her shoot and showed the ability to knock down the three.  She’s a super athletic wing with a huge upside.
<strong>Jniya Weaver - 5’7" - Guard - National Christian Academy - 2025</strong>
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-361020" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/DSC_0727-300x199.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="199" />
Jniya was very active on defense.  She has a soft touch around the basket to finish and attacks well off the pump fake.  She has a good shot and is a threat from the three.  She scored all nine of her points in the second half.
<strong>Elena Houghton - 6’1" - Forward - Friendship Collegiate - 2022</strong>
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-361022" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/DSC_0711-300x199.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="199" />
Elana made some great plays early with 6 points and 4 blocks within the first four minutes of the game.  She has a solid frame and is a good finisher.  As the Eagles adjusted on defense it limited her opportunities, but she showed her worth early in the game.
<strong>Kamora Morgan - 6’0" - Wing - National Christian Academy - 2024</strong>
Kamora has good wing size at 6’0" and was solid on defense.  She showed her range knocking down a couple of three pointers in route to a 17-point game.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="137236" first="J’Khya" last="Jordan"] - 5’8" - Wing - Friendship Collegiate - 2022</strong>
<a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/DSC_0689-scaled-crop-2049x1345-1638803139.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-361018" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/DSC_0689-scaled-crop-2049x1345-1638803139-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a>
J’Khya impressed with the intensity in her play.  She showed good decision making and vision with her passing.  Physically she doesn’t have the length and athleticism as some of the other wings but there are not many players that play harder than her.
<strong>Madison Byrd - 6’5" - Post - Friendship Collegiate - 2023</strong>
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-361024" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/DSC_0681-300x199.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="199" />
Talk about upside, 6’5" with a college body is hard to find.  Madison didn’t score but her presence in the paint was very disruptive.  She can block shots by just putting her arms straight up.  She runs well but needs to slide better to cut off the lane to avoid foul trouble, something she will learn in college.
