Coach Al’s Fall League Notebook-Week 6

She has been a physical presence around the basket and has shown a strong IQ. She has been making accurate passes out of double teams and has been running the floor hard. She has grown a bit, and her length was on full display on the defensive side of the ball. She is an excellent on ball defender and really excels in the press where she covers a lot of ground and shows great instincts. She used her size and athleticism to shoot over smaller defenders and was hard to stop in the paint. She contributes in many ways but I have been most impressed by her defense and rebounding. She is an effective on ball defender due to her length, footwork and upper body strength which has allowed her to guard multiple positions.
