Destiny Towns Destiny Towns 5'11" | PF St. Mary's Ryken | 2022 State MD , 2022, St. Mary’s Ryken
Ms. Towns showed why she is leading the WCAC in rebounding this season by controlling the boards in this game. She attacks on both ends of the court, giving her team extra possessions and limiting the opponent. At 5’10” and solidly built she has the strength to contribute at the next level. She has good hands and a nice touch around the basket.
Sydney Johnson, 2024, St. Mary’s Ryken
Sydney is a another big body Ryken has in their rotation and she had a solid outing on Saturday. She rebounded well, boxed out and set good screens. She chipped in with 11 points and played strong post defense.
Trinity Massenburg Trinity Massenburg 6'1" | PF Baltimore Poly | 2023 State MD , 2023, Poly
Trinity is one of my favorite players to watch. The 6’1″ junior forward goes all out on every play, providing hustle plays and sacrificing her body. She is a warrior in every sense. She is athletic and very physical so she is capable of simply wearing opponents down. She only scored 5 points but her value comes on the defensive end and on the boards.
Dakieran Turner, 2022, St. Frances
DK had a solid game, providing rebounding and interior presence while battling with Poly’s physical front line. At a legit 6’1″ she has a nice shot out to about fifteen feet and a good touch around the basket. She has committed to UMES.
Meghan Yarnevich Meghan Yarnevich 6'2" | C Bullis | 2025 State MD , 2025, Howard
Meghan set the tone early against Mercy and never let up, scoring a game high 17 points. She showed why she is one of the top freshman in the area by dominating inside and then flashing perimeter skills. She is very comfortable as a secondary ball handler and can knock down three point shots.
Riley Holliday Riley Holliday 6'0" | PF Baltimore Poly | 2023 State MD , 2023, Poly
Riley is a skilled center/forward that can stretch the floor with her shooting ability. She chipped in 10 points in this game and showed a willingness to bang in the paint. She will definitely bring toughness to a team at the next level.
Maryan Eniafe, 2023, Maret
Maryan posted a double double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. She is very tough to defend because she has excellent footwork nice finishing moves. She has a great feel for the game and made some nice passes out of the high post area. I like how she gets up the court quickly and establishes good position on the block. She is a very strong defender that challenges and alters a ton of shots. Big time prospect.
