The 2026 class is one of the most anticipated classes for high school coaches and fans alike. We’ve had our eyes one some of thes rising freshmen for years others have recently came on our radar. All are in line to have an outstanding high school career. Email your team’s schedule to PGH Maryland and we will be there to see your rising freshman.
Bailey Harris – 5’11 – Combo Guard – Team Maryland
Bailey is the best 8th grader that I have seen since Azzi Fudd (UConn). She has a very accurate shott that stays accurate when under pressure. She has range past the three and can get to the rack. She comes from a basketball family having a talented older brother and parents that were athletes. Right now she is the front runner for #1 in the class.
Jordyn Jackson – 5’11″ – Wing – Elevate Elite (Team Takeover)
Jordyn is the most polished and experienced player in the class. She has competed on the 17U circuit and held her own against EYBL competition. Physically she doesn’t look out of place next to rising seniors and her skill and confidence would have you to believe that she was one herself.
Aliza Murray Aliza Murray 5'5" | CG Virginia Academy | 2026 State VA – 5’4″ – Guard
Aliza is a highly skilled guard with a very good mid-range pull-up game. She is quick enough to choose her scoring spot slipping past defenders and can get to the basket and finish very well. I’m looking for her to drop into the top ten when the rankings come out.
Jayel West Jayel West 5'8" | SG Osbourn Park | 2026 State VA – 5’7″ – Guard
Watching Jayel in drills, she showed a wide array of skills. She uses her off hand well and has some impressive finishes with either hand. She uses her body well to shield off defenders,
Jaila Lilly – 6’2″ – Post – New Hope Academy
Jaila is strong inside and has a big physical body. Smaller guards just bounce off of her and she gets to the line frequently as players resort to fouling her when she has the ball deep in the paint.
Malia Siriwardene – 5’6″ – Guard
Malia is a very smart guard with a pure shot from 13’ feet in. She has a knack of finding gaps in the defense and putting the ball in the basket. She is an efficient player that can get overlooked by some because she doesn’t hog the ball she just makes good plays.
Cai Roberson – 5’11″ – Wing – Team Takeover
Genetics are on Kai’s side has she comes from a familiy ine of tall basketball players. Her 6’9″ brother was a star at DeMatha this past season and she has a younger baller sister that’s almost as tall as her. Expect her to get better every year as her stock should continue rising each time she plays.
