The 15U division games were some of the most fun to watch. The ESF Lady Threat / Team Takeover was one of the most anticipated games of the weekend. Several matchups were entertaining and a lot talent was on hand to watch. Here are some of the top shooters that were on hand over the weekend.
VaNyah Otey VaNyah Otey 5'10" | CG TPLS Christian Academy | 2026 State VA – 6’0″ – Wing – FBC CE Havoc – 2025
VaNyah has nice size and a more mature game that her game would dictate. She had a good shot with excellent range and a soft mid-range touch. She was able to shoot over defenders and had a fitting ending with game winning three over GTS Fusion.
Chyanne Harris – 5’5″ – Shooting Guard – Team Takeover EYBL – 2025
Chyanne has great form and is deadly with the corner three. She made defenses aware early that she needed to be covered off the ball, however, when they slipped she would make them pay.
Jayme Poindexter Jayme Poindexter 5'6" | CG Archbishop Carroll | 2025 State MD – 5’6″ – Combo Guard – GTS Fusion – 2025
Jayme has great vision keeping her head up on her dribble finding open teammates. She did really well handling pressure. She was effective driving and hitting the three, she also made her free throws.
Jordyn Steindl – 5’8″ – Shooting Guard – Team Takeover EYBL – 2025
Jordyn’s shot was a little off in their final game but everything was in plays as her threes were rimming out. She has the ability to get on a streak from distance as she had shown in some of her previous games.
Heidi Williams – 5’8″ – Guard – GTS Fusion – 2025
Heidi is a physical guard that drives hard and finishes with contact. She rebounds well and gets out on the break and yeah…she knocks down the three.
Qandance Samuels – 5’10″ – Guard – TTO Showcase – 2027
Qandance (not to be confused with her sister Quadence and Qadence) was the youngest on the floor against Team Thrill but her skill level was amongst the best in the building. She is quick and slices the lane finishing well and she shot the three effortlessly.
