Check out my analysis on the real GameChangers who I got to get a look at here in Dallas this weekend! These talented prospects shined every second they were on the court, and are really starting to turn heads with their play. Do not be surprised when you see these names pop up everywhere once the season starts to get rolling…
Madyson Mitchell Madyson Mitchell 5'8" | SG Taylor | 2026 State TX 2026 5’6 Ursuline Academy of Dallas
Highlights
Madyson is a high level guard who is a special slasher already at this stage in the game. She routinely finishes through contact and is not afraid of anyone on the other side of the court. I loved the energy she displayed, taking anyone she wanted off the bounce and then getting tough shots to fall on the interior. She routinely took open jumpers in the mid-range, after the threat of her getting downhill was evident. She routinely took what the defense gave her on the offensive end. Her aggressiveness on both ends of the court allows her to dominate on the interior, and with how easily she makes tough finishes seem defenses are always on their heals when she is on the court. Defensively, she is great at defending the perimeter, but also can scream over from the weak side to protect the rim. She has a great blend of size and athleticism at this stage in the game and as she continues to grow and develop, she looks to have all the tools to become a dynamic weapon at the next level!
Salena Carrasco Salena Carrasco 5'7" | PG Boswell | 2026 State TX 2026 5’8 Boswell High School
Salena is a high level point guard who has a silky smooth game, and can score in bunches in a moment’s notice. I loved watching her handle the ball and manipulate the defense with her positioning and threat to score from all three levels. She willingly hunts for open looks in the mid-range and hit a few shots fading away. Her handle is off the charts for her age, and it allows her to take anyone off the bounce that she sees in front of her. Her quick crossovers always seem to generate space, and can easily knock down pull up jumpers after some high level crosses and behind the backs. Another aspect of her game that stood out to me was her decision making and how well she was able to operate the pick and roll. She was patient and manipulated the defense with her handle, and her eyes. Salena has all the tools to become an incredibly dynamic weapon at the next level.
Endia Stigall Endia Stigall 5'5" | PG Hays (Buda) | 2026 State TX 2026 5’5 Hays High School
Highlights
Endia is a high level guard who can easily score from all three levels of the floor. She takes what the defense gives her every time down the court, and is willing to attack the basket or threaten the defense from the perimeter. She has all the tools to become a high level combo guard with how well she saw the floor but also operated the pick and roll. She patiently waited for the screen to come and then quickly attacked as soon as the defense hesitated. Out of the pick and roll she knows how to attack the rim and force a third defender to step up or make a decision, and then quickly fire a kick-out pass or go up strong. She was great at getting downhill on the fast break, constantly pushing the tempo and keeping her team’s pace high.
Jamari Milton Jamari Milton 5'4" | PG North Crowley | 2026 State TX 2026 5’4 North Crowley High School
Highlights
Jamari is a high level point guard who sees the floor at a special level which allows her to be an incredibly dominant weapon. She loves pushing the tempo and raises eyebrows with her decision making and passing ability. She constantly made the right play on the fast break, and found her teammates with pinpoint passes as they raced down the court. An aspect about her game that I loved was her aggressiveness on the defensive glass, and how well she was able to turn defense into offense. She snatched rebounds and pushed the tempo to get her team easy looks time and time again.
Avery Ragland Avery Ragland 5'7" | PG Mustang | 2026 State OK 2026 5’6 Mustang High School (Oklahoma)
Avery is a scrappy point guard who has a knack for turning defense into offense with her active hands and how well she moves her feet to cut off driving angles. She had multiple instances in which she easily stripped the ball from her opponent and raced the other way for easy opportunities. Her hard work on the defensive end of the floor allowed her to get easier looks on the fast break time after time! She is also a high level shooter who can initiate an offense and make you pay from beyond the arc. She scores well from beyond the arc, but I would like to see her get more willing to hunt for her jumper in the mid-range, and work on keeping a defender on her hip or behind her after she turns the corner. I would also like to see her work on raising her release point to continue to be able to shoot over defenders.
