You can just tell by the way the ball rolls off her fingertips that Caitlyn Jones Caitlyn Jones 5’8″ | CG Rolesville | 2025 State NC will make it go through the hoop. She can drive against any kind of contact, or she can set herself up around the perimeter to knock it down from deep. Her change of direction moves are sure to break some ankles, and she uses ball fakes perfectly to create some space as she gets to the hoop. She sees the court well knowing the best option to get her team some points whether she is putting up a floater in the paint or making the dish to her teammates.

If sport accolades were certifications, Trista Charles Trista Charles 5’11” | CG Oak Grove | 2025 State NC would certainly be adding a lot of letters behind her name this season as a sophomore. We’ve said it before, but she can certainly play all positions on the court on both ends. She does a nice job posting up on the block going against strong opponents, and she can step outside to handle the ball. She has a nice shot from deep, and she does well pushing the tempo finding her open teammates up the court. She knows how to use her strength on defense whether she is moving quickly to keep a guard in front of her or stepping down to the block using her length to block some shots.
Before we get to her ball handling, we definitely need to mention how feisty Breonna Roaf Breonna Roaf 5’7″ | PG Terry Sanford | 2025 State NC is on the defensive side of the ball as she can strip the ball from any guard trying to get a play started. She is quick with her release on a fast break being ready to catch the pass and score some points, or she can push the ball up with speed herself. She hustles all over the court going after loose balls, and she finds ways to open up the court for her teammates if she isn’t attacking the basket all the way herself.
Now, we get into double trouble with the Shehan twins from Lake Norman. Lake Norman had a phenomenal season, and these girls were always mentioned when it came to their success. With her quick release, Samantha Shehan Samantha Shehan 6’0″ | CG Lake Norman | 2025 State NC is always ready to catch and shoot to score some points no matter where she is on the court. She can knock it down from deep or even hit the difficult midrange baseline jumpers. Her ability to get inside for some rebounds is an asset on both ends of the court.

Her twin, Alexis Shehan Alexis Shehan 6’0″ | SF Lake Norman | 2025 State NC , does a nice job cleaning up the glass on both ends of the court. She grabs the board and finds the best outlet route, or she puts offensive rebounds back up for her own points. She runs the floor exceptionally well filling in the lanes and being ready for the pass and bucket. She always knows where she is on the court as she understands how to adjust her body to face the basket and score some points. She does a nice job running some pick and roll options sealing off her own defender in the process to open up the court for herself.
