A’ja Wilson Elite 17U Debuts:

Lauren Jacobs Lauren Jacobs 5'9" | PG Heathwood Hall | 2025 State SC fresh off a SCISA Class 4A State Championship came out on fire scoring 15 points in the first half. She was able to knockdown shots on the perimeter or was able to slash to the basket. Lauren is a SCORER who can find ways to score the rock. She really shows to have good body control on the way to the basket while absorbing contact. Jacobs ranks #2 in the 2025 Palmetto State Class.
High School teammates of Jacobs, Camillea Gore Camillea Gore 6'0" | SG Heathwood Hall | 2025 State SC and Sabreya Monsanto Sabreya Monsanto 5'11" | SF Heathwood Hall | 2025 State SC give the A’ja Wilson Elite 17U squad more depth in the backcourt. Monsanto really showcased some crafty passing skills today from out top. She ran the ball up the floor while on the break and showed some of nice passes to her teammates. Sabreya is constantly going to bring it to the hardwood with effort and hustle. She never takes a play off and always remains in communication with her teammates.

Post Presence Down Low:
Destiny Drakeford Destiny Drakeford 6'0" | C Ridge View | 2024 State SC and Olivia Randolph Olivia Randolph 6'2" | PF Wren | 2024 State SC give the A’ja Wilson Elite rim protectors and rebounders down low in the paint. Drakeford has made great strides in her game. She was able to carve out space here today and block some shots along the way. Destiny really played the game very aggressively and did what she had to do to help her team win. Drakeford will surely be a Stock-Riser down the road.
Randolph made the transition over to Wren HS this season after playing the past 2 seasons at Westside HS. Quick Fact – Olivia has played in 3 State Championship Games over the past 3 years with 2 different programs. Randolph didn’t play Grassroots ball last summer. It was good to see her back on the floor. Olivia collected a few clean blocks down low while protecting the rim. She rebounds the ball well while staying in the paint area to manufacture results. Randolph and Drakeford both members of the 2024 Palmetto State Class will look to handle the middle for the Red, White and Blue.
Juniors at Hammond:
Samira Khalil Samira Khalil 5'8" | CG Hammond | 2024 State SC is just another piece to the puzzle on this very talented team. Khalil came out on all cylinders knocking down shots on the perimeter. Kayce Hyman Kayce Hyman 5'10" | SF Hammond | 2024 State SC is a teammate of Khalil for the Lady Skyhawks at Hammond. Today Hyman was running with the Palmetto 76ers Select squad. Kayce looked to go to battle while playing extremely aggressive down in the paint. She can step-out to the short corner and knockdown the jumper. Hyman and Khalil will look to get the Lady Skyhawks program a bit farther next season in the postseason from the SCISA ranks.
9th Graders Really – WOW:
Ayona Alexander Ayona Alexander 6'0" | PF Andrew Jackson | 2026 State SC is just a freshman still for the Lady Volunteers at Andrew Jackson HS. Ayona surely didn’t backdown from a challenge today playing up in age group with Palmetto 76ers Select. Alexander plays the game so physical and really enjoys playing with contact. She was able to work down low in the paint. She plays the game very aggressively for her age. Oh yeah Ayona debuted as the #2 ranked girl in the Palmetto State 2026 Class recently.

Reagan stays busy all year long playing several sports at Chapin HS.
Skylar McCray Skylar McCray 5'7" | SG A.C. Flora | 2026 State SC was able to knockdown some shots today for the A’ja Wilson Elite 15U squad. She really likes to operate from the corners. McCray connected on a handful of three pointers when open today.
