Lena Girardi Lena Girardi 5’10” | SF IMG Academy | 2025 State FL came as advertised at Candice Dupree Invitational. The words that comes to mind are efficient and patient. In the beginning, she was just going with the flow of the game and not forcing anything, and then all of sudden the lid came off and she went on a scoring run, knocking down shot after shot. Nothing was forced as Girardi knocked down jumpers from all over the court at the opportune time.
Really enjoyed watching Terry on the courts. She is a well polished player who can do it all offensively (midrange jumper, drive to the rim, shoot the three, pass it, draw double-teams, etc). Defensively, she is an aggressive on the ball defender, smart player in the passing lanes, and is very good in help side defense. In transition, she usually gets a bucket or heads to the free throw line. She had all of this going at the Candice Dupree Invitational.
Nacoya Blocton Nacoya Blocton 6’0″ | PF Ridgeview | 2025 State FL was a force at the CDI. Blocton plays the four position, but their is a lot of guard skills in her repertoire. She handles it very well in transition and gets to the rim with purpose. In transition, no guard is stopping her path to the goal, and usually the 4s and 5s are not in the picture in transition. She also has the stretch 4 abilities and can knock down the midrange and three point shot. She was a standout all throughout the weekend.

Jadynn Spivey Jadynn Spivey 5’9″ | SG Creekside | 2025 State FL played well and was a standout in the 2025 class. Spivey shot the three ball well, was a slasher to the rim, and used her athleticism to shine at the tournament. She was one the most energetic players on the court.
Highlights
Terrannya Medlock Terrannya Medlock 6’0″ | SG Ribault | 2025 State FL was one of the most talented forwards in the building. She has such great length that she creates mismatches at the 2 and she outquicks the opposition when at the 3 or 4. At 5’10 on the wing, Medlock stood out for sure. Her production on the court equally stood out and earned her the recognition as one of the top 2025s on the floor.
Highlights
Jolena Gardner Jolena Gardner 6’0″ | SF Columbia | 2025 State FL played very well at the tournament. There were times she was outright dominant. Her versatility was very impressive as she produced on the inside, outside, and made a play in transition that only the elite ones can make. She took a pass on the fast break faked right and finished at the rim with the left hand with great coordination and elevation.
Alex Gross Alex Gross 5’7″ | SG Ribault | 2025 State FL is just killing it this travel season. Instant offense and a delight in the transition game, where she can attck the rim on either side. The young guard can shoot the three, shoot the short jumper, and can knock down the floater. Defensively, she is a force and quickly turns turnovers into layups. Gross was a standout for sure.
