Qandace comes from an increasingly long line of basketball with several family members playing at a high level. With her oldest sister attending UConn as a freshman next season, it’s seems strange to say that she may be the best of the family after it’s all said and done. She has a variety of things that she does very well outside of her of the chart genetics, making her potentially one of the best players in her class nationally. She looks comfortable playing up a class an still makes plays on both ends.
Ava is using her experience from her ultra high level high school team and translating it into quality circuit play. She plays under control and sees the entire floor. Her shot is text book quality and she has a good touch and accuracy. She handled pressure well against the Lady Push controlling the tempo of the game.
Bailey continues to play phenomenally even after dawning a new uniform. She enters the EYBL circuit with Team Melo which should match her against other top players in her age group on a regular basis. She is one of the best perimeter players in the region and an excellent shooter. Bailey’s Team Melo squad filled in to play back to back games on Sunday to replace the Cap City Ballers who had left for the weekend.
Mary played a crucial role as TTO outlasted the WP Bruins. She showed a good handle and a nice shooting form. She was able to impact the game doing the little things with hustle and defense that don’t show up on the stat sheet. She is typically the point guard but was able to be effective off the ball as well.
Syvannah was one of the youngest on the court for the BWSL v GLP game but she played like she belonged in the moment. She showed a knack for finding gaps in the defense and attacking lanes. She finished high getting the ball over the reaching arms of shot blockers.
