These players have been rising up to tough challenges on the court staying consistent with their high level performances. Let’s take a look at some of these stock risers for these rising juniors.
Kylie Torrence Kylie Torrence 6’1″ | SF High Point Christian | 2025 State NC has been catching the eyes of many college coaches across the country and for good reason. She helped take her High Point Christian team to the state championship, and she has continued performing at a high level with her grassroots team this spring. She’s versatile on the court being able to score anywhere, and this translates well to the defensive side of the ball having range with who she can guard. She uses post moves to score inside, and she can certainly pull up for a jumper using her handles to create some space.
Caitlyn Jones Caitlyn Jones 5’8″ | CG Rolesville | 2025 State NC is another athlete that has college coaches intrigued. She’s a strong ball handler knowing how to protect every possession, and she keeps her eyes peeled all across the court finding her open teammates. She makes quick passes to her teammates cutting to the basket making sure the ball reaches its intended target. She can certainly score on her own attacking the basket or knocking down her shot from deep.
Highlights
Gabby White Gabby White 5’10” | CG Seaforth | 2025 State NC has a knack for attacking the basket and finishing through contact no matter who tries to stand in front of her. She sees the rim and does whatever it takes to get there using some shifty handles to get by her opponents, and she makes nice adjustments at the rim to score her points. Not only does she see the floor well offensively, but she uses this IQ on the defensive side of the ball being able to study her opponents and prevent them from getting to the hoop. She helped her school get to the state championship game this year and earned Most Outstanding Player accolades even in the defeat.
Khloe Thompson Khloe Thompson 5’6″ | CG Cannon | 2025 State NC is very quick on the court using her speed to jump into passing lanes or push the ball up the court. She finds her open teammates with ease making the bounce pass into her teammates on the block, or she can take the ball all the way to the hoop herself. She can create her own space knocking down shots from deep, too. Look for her to step up for Cannon as a main ball handler controlling the tempo and being the floor general.
Sidney Blackwell Sidney Blackwell 5’7″ | CG Porter Ridge | 2025 State NC is a high motor player who doesn’t seem to stop moving no matter what kind of challenge she faces. She has been knocking down shots from deep all throughout the spring, and she has good size using that to get inside for some points. She’ll do a little bit of everything for her teams like getting inside for rebounds, and she hustles back on defense protecting the basket on fast breaks. She is definitely a fun player to watch, and more colleges are agreeing with that statement.
