However, after each of the Kentucky scouts sent our feedback in, they were able to get the initial rankings list together and it was officially made public late last week. Below, you will find the top 2027 point guards from the first 2027 rankings. Offers: WKU, Dayton
2022-23 Season Stats: 11.8 PPG, 3.2 RPG, 39.3% FG, 29.9% 3FG, 69.4% FT
Outlook: Jordan has joined the back-to-back-to-back state champions, Sacred Heart, to start her high school career. While Sacred Heart has an established lineup after only graduating one player from last year’s squad that went undefeated in the state, Tootie is such a special player that she will be able to immediately take over that PG role. What makes her so special is her basketball IQ. She clearly knows the game and can make so much happen on both ends of the floor. While she’s got all the skills of a true floor general, she also can score in a variety of ways and truly makes the defense respect her at all 3 levels.
Offers: Dayton, Murray State, Bowling Green, Bellarmine
2022-23 Season Stats: 8.7 PPG, 2.9 RPG, 42.3% FG, 32.7% 3FG, 62.2% FT
Outlook: Stamper already has an established role on a team widely viewed as one of the top 2 teams in the state and her stats are going to continue to rise every season. The poise and confidence that she plays with allows her to compete against anyone in the nation. When you step into a gym where Stamper is playing, you will hear multiple people asking who she is because she is a true standout no matter who she’s playing with or against. I wish I had numbers like assists and steals because she’s got a really special passing game and she always gets after it defensively. While you have to respect her ability to score inside or out, her fakes are also beyond effective, and she can handle the ball with the best of them. I really wish we could’ve had a 3-way tie for the top spot in these initial rankings because Stamper truly deserves to be #1 as well.

2022-23 Season Stats: Did not play for any HS, but is attending Dixie Heights this year
Outlook: Carner is a player I had not got to watch play until this summer, but after watching her play on multiple occasions, I can truly say I walked away more impressed by her game after every game I saw. She definitely is another special talent and is also another PG who can really put the ball in the basket. She’s so poised with the ball and never seems to get rattled. She just goes out there and consistently plays tough. She can pull-up quickly off the dribble, take it all the way to the rim, or score anywhere in between, so she definitely doesn’t make things easy on the defense. Add her passing ability to that equation and you can see why she’s such a tough player.

2022-23 Season Stats: 2.8 PPG, 1.3 RPG, 42.3% FG, 22.2% 3FG, 62.5% FT
Outlook: Wheeler already has a special desire to be the best and she will take every step necessary to take her talent as far as it can possibly go. Watch for her to be a major piece to the puzzle for an extremely talented Franklin County team this season. Last year, she was the only middle schooler that made their Varsity squad. While she played valuable minutes then, she now seems to be completely comfortable in her role and is poised to take things to another level this season. Wheeler is very quick with and without the ball and she can get past defenders with ease. She can finish tough baskets at the rim, knock down shots, or distribute the ball. She continues to thrive on big stages, and I think she’s going to open a ton of eyes this season as more and more people get the chance to see her talent.

2022-23 Season Stats: 11.9 PPG, 1.7 RPG, 40.5% FG, 38.3% 3FG, 66.7% FT
Outlook: Once more people get their eyes on Mills, she will likely continue to rise up the rankings list because her skillset is really solid all-around. She plays with so much heart and passion every second she’s on the court. Excellent ball handler and passer, but she can also put the ball in the basket at all 3 levels. She’s never going to be one of the tallest players on the court, but she doesn’t need to be because of the way she plays the game. She is a tenacious defender, and she just really understands how to compete at a high level. If you don’t know her name yet, expect to learn it quickly.
2022-23 Season Stats: 9.7 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 34.9% FG, 28.5% 3FG, 46.6% FT
Outlook: I had heard a lot about Carr prior to the Freshman Showcase, but after getting to watch her play in person, I can confirm that everything positive I had heard about her game was definitely true. She’s a player that can really impact the game in many ways. Her quick handles and IQ already make her a difficult defensive assignment, but it only gets more difficult when you factor in her scoring ability. She can get to the rim, but she can just as easily kick it to an open teammate, and she switches things up very well. She’s already played and established herself at the Varsity level, but will be wearing a different jersey in her freshman year. Expect big things out of Great Crossing with Carr.

Outlook: Heart over height all day long and Ginn plays with a ton of heart every time she steps on the court. I love how fearless and tenacious she is. Every time I’ve gotten the chance to watch her play, she has been solid from start to finish. She doesn’t try to force or do too much, but she consistently makes smart plays. I’m excited to see how her growth translates onto the court this season because I think she’s set to increase all of her stats from last season while really being a player her team can rely on.
