MOP:
To me, Stamper was far and away the best player at camp. Kennedy had the gym buzzing with high level ball handling, next level passing and enough shot making to keep defenses honest. She already has 3 D1 offers and it’s easy to see why. Quick and crafty with a super high basketball IQ, Stamper has high level footwork that allowed her to make several impressive moves and finishes on Saturday.

Top Performers (No Order):
Maci is a prospect that I got to see for a couple of games and while I can’t point at any one particular play or one specific skill that blew me away, Messer left a really positive impression because she does everything well. Already adept at impacting winning, Maci makes everyone around her better with her playmaking and showed the ability to guard multiple positions.

I always have a soft spot for shooters and Pernell was the best one I saw on Saturday, period. And I watched 80 2027 boys prospects for 5 hours after the girls camp was over. Brynli has good range on her shot and great mechanics that don’t change from one attempt to the next. She’s got to be a top 10 (at worst) player in the 2027 class.
If it weren’t for Kennedy Stamper Kennedy Stamper 5’5″ | PG George Rogers Clark | 2027 State KY , Carr may have been my pick for MOP of camp. Nia has some high level ball handling and can not only get past defenders but also has the ability to hit runners and floaters that many her age haven’t acquired yet. Great Crossing has a really good one in Nia Carr Nia Carr 5’5″ | PG Great Crossing | 2027 State KY .

Hogancamp wouldn’t jump out at you if you were watching the games but she was one of the most efficient scorers at camp and was the best rebounder we saw all day. Macee had double doubles in every game and our scorekeeper kept track of her rebounds one game and she had 13 in the first half alone. You can win a lot of games with players who play as hard as Macee Hogancamp Macee Hogancamp 5’10” | C Carlisle County | 2027 State KY .
Lyla was the tallest prospect at the camp and could have some of the highest potential of them all. Packer didn’t get a ton of touches on offense but was efficient with her scoring when she did get the ball. She rebounded at a high level and made smart passes to teammates, especially when the defense came to double the post. Keep an eye on Lyla for Bullitt East the next 4 years!
