Sears is a prospect who is growing on the recruiting scene after recently being offered by Purdue, Tulsa and Kansas in the 2025 class in North Carolina out of Watauga High. She’s a 5-foot-9 guard who filled up the state sheet as a sophomore for the Lady Pioneers, averaging 21.0 PPG, 6.7 RPG, 5.0 APG and 2.1 APG on 44 percent shooting from the floor and 37 percent shooting from deep. She’s coming off a productive summer with Team Curry on the UAA scene.
Freeman is another guard prospect in the 2025 class to keep eyes on in the Wilson area at Fike High. She’s a feisty 5-foot-7 guard who led her squad to a 22-6 record this past season as a sophomore. She put up 19.9 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 6.1 SPG and 3.6 APG as an aggressive two-way presence who can attack the paint and finish in traffic. North Carolina A&T has offered her.
Highlights
Bell became a new name in the 2025 rankings this past June and remains one to watch in the 2025 class out of North Stanly High. She’s quite the paint presence at 6-foot-1 after posting 20.4 PPG, 14.0 RPG, 5.5 BPG, 4.1 SPG and 2.0 SPG as her squad went 20-6 during her sophomore season. She racked up 23 double-doubles across 25 games in 2022-23. She’s got an offer from Coker University.
Stone is a prospect out of the Charlotte metro area at Mallard Creek High to get to know as another high school season approaches. She’s a wiry shooting guard who can rebound in bunches and create matchup problems for others on the perimeter with her shooting ability. She posted 18.8 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 4.0 SPG, 2.0 BPG nad 1.6 APG on 53 percent shooting from the floor. Look for her stock to continue to grow in the NCHSAA in the 2025 class. UNC-Wilmington, Elon, App State, Furman and Queens have all offered her already.
Jernigan returns looking to win another NCHSAA State Title with her Bishop McGuinness High teammates after leading them in 2022-23 as a sophomore. She put up 18.3 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 2.4 SPG and 1.6 APG on 51 percent shooting from the floor this past season and returns looking to do a whole lot more with some senior departures to deal with. Iowa, Louisville, Villanova and Miami are just a few of the HM offers on the table for her.
