<p><strong><em>Schools in the Counties</em></strong>: Andrew Jackson HS, Buford HS, Camden HS, Indian Land HS, Lancaster HS, Lugoff-Elgin HS and North Central HS </p>

<p><strong>Andrew Jackson HS</strong> - The Lady Volunteers finished (22-6) and bowed out in the playoffs to Bishop England 39-38. The Lady Volunteers suffered losses to Camden HS - 3A State Champions twice, South Pointe HS - Class 4A - twice and North Myrtle Beach HS a Class 4A program. The pieces are in play for the Lady Volunteers to win a state championship come next March in Florence. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='175322' first='Tamia' last='Watkins']</strong> is back in the fold this season for the Lady Volunteers after playing last season at Legion Collegiate. Watkins a left-handed forward will enter her junior season with 1,378 career points and 854 rebounds. Tamia brings a willingness to rebound the ball on both ends of the floor. Last year Tamia averaged 16.5 ppg and 9.6 rebounds for the Lady Lancers a Legion Collegiate. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='496215' first='Ayona' last='Alexander'] </strong>was a work horse last season for the Lady Volunteers. She averaged 17.6 ppg and 11.4 rebounds as freshman. Alexander comes in at #2 player in the 2026 Palmetto State Class. Ayona can handle the rock, drive to the cup, rebound on both ends of court, bully defenders on the way to the basket. She at times is a total mismatch around the bucket. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='383418' first='Ni'yonna' last='Asbelle']</strong> brings good versatility to the floor and skill level. She can really stuff the stat-sheet every night with her play. Asbelle averaged 14.7ppg, 6.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists a season ago. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='395216' first='Emiley' last='McCall'] </strong>just does her job from out top feeding the post and wings to score the ball. McCall chipped in at 9.9 ppg and 4.5 assists a outing last season. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='587310' first='Trinity' last='Delly']</strong> is a youngster on this roster for the Lady Volunteers. Delly has no problems jumping on the deck and earning her keep when it comes to minutes every night. She averaged 8.6 ppg, 3.6 steals and 3.4 rebounds last season. </p>

<p><strong>Buford HS </strong>- The Lady Yellow Jackets finished (8-11) last season. <strong>Peighton Sweatt</strong> and <strong>Jules Campos</strong> both look to be back in the mix this season. </p>

<p><strong>Camden HS</strong> - The Lady Bulldogs finished (29-2) last season and claimed a Class 3A State Championship. Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='171798' first='Joyce' last='Edwards']</strong> is back for her final encore with Lady Bulldogs. Edwards averaged 28.5 ppg, 13.6 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.6 blocks last season. </p>

<p>She enters her senior season with 3.016 career points, 1,495 rebounds, 526 steals, 407 assists and 308 block shots. Edwards just recently mentioned a Top 7 list of schools looking to gain her services after high school. Clemson, Florida, LSU, Maryland, Stanford, South Carolina and Texas A&M. Joyce just helped the volleyball team get to the Class 3A State Championship Game before falling to Wren HS. How ironic - Wren and Camden met last season in the Class 3A State Basketball Championship Game. Edwards even plays soccer in the spring for the Lady Bulldogs. </p>

Carter averaged 7 ppg last season and enters her senior season with 787 career points. She has been a fixture here for the Lady Bulldogs since her 8th grade season. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='324555' first='Braylin' last='Mungo']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='376018' first='Harmony' last='Jefferson']</strong> surely look to be the future of the program here for Camden HS. Mungo a left-handed guard has already received interest from college programs while averaging 9.7 ppg, 3.5 steals and 2.7 assists last season as 8th grader. Mungo really excels in the transition game and getting to the cup. </p>

<p>Jefferson averaged 4.5 ppg last season when she saw herself playing. Jefferson brings a good energy and willingness to work hard on both ends of the court. </p>

Champion averaged 9.6 ppg a season ago. Champion has no problems taking a charge or jumping on the deck for a loose ball at any time. </p>

<p><strong>Indian Land HS</strong> - The Lady Warriors have a new head coach in Kevin King this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='735210' first='Skylar' last='Young']</strong> had a strong showing this past fall at a Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo and SCBCA Elite Camp. The Lady Warriors finished (5-20) a season ago. </p>

<p><strong>Lancaster HS </strong>- The Lady Bruins (12-11) return a few key pieces to the roster this season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='253659' first='KeMarja' last='Peay']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='562066' first='Eliza' last='Baskins'] </strong>both return to provide leadership. Peay a post player averaged 12.1 ppg and 8 rebounds. She really likes to play the game on contact and has no problem playing inside-out on the floor. </p>

<p><strong>Lugoff-Elgin HS</strong> - The Lady Demons were just (3-23) a season ago. Look for them to trend upward this season with a very young roster returning. Watch out for 9th graders<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='637609' first='Jillian' last='Rush']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='637607' first='Teryn' last='Hobson']</strong> to lead the way. Rush averaged 11.9 ppg and 9.6 rebounds last season. Hobson chimed in with 9.6 ppg a game. Junior <strong>Kamille Charles</strong> averaged 4.2 ppg and 8.8 rebounds a season ago. </p>

<p><strong>North Central HS</strong> - Last season was a long season for the Lady Knights who finished (0-15). </p>
