Two of BCAM’s top 10, it was the Martians who imposed their will on both sides of the floor to earn a victory. Here are the prospects who have had exceptional weeks for their teams leading into Christmas break.
Tanner was a key contributor inside on both ends and her efforts led Goodrich to an impressive win Tuesday. She set the tone offensively making extra passes from the high post and along the baseline to create open shots for shooters spotting up. Tanner showed she has the range to hit shots outside, sinking a wing 3. She worked with a relentless effort to seal inside and was able to use various pivot moves to convert contested shots in the paint. Tanner is an effective rebounder, passer, and defender for Goodrich.
Highlights
Kayla Hairston Kayla Hairston 5’2″ | PG Goodrich | 2026 State MI continues to shine brightest in big games in challenging matchups. She did not play a perfect game offensively, but something that stood out was when she made mistakes. Kayla after a turnover, got on her horse and forced the other guard to turn over the ball with a deflection. She caused multiple jump balls by grabbing the ball as well. Kayla hit a top of the key 3, corner 3, and used her vision to drive and dish to open teammates. She continues to be an impressive PG for the Martians.
Baylor was challenged with difficult defensive assignments Tuesday, but she seemed more than capable of handling the challenge. Baylor caused multiple turnovers with her ball pressure and was effective cutting off drives to the paint. Baylor played with good offensive awareness and finished a baseline cut and finish off two feet. Baylor added assists and is an exciting freshman for Goodrich to have in their lineup.

Grace Brenner Grace Brenner 5’5″ | PG Frankenmuth | 2027 State MI (2027) PG was one of Frankenmuth’s top performers against a challenging opponent. One of her most impressive plays was when she forced a steal in a trap at half court, attacked the paint, then retreat dribbled into a pull-up 3 pointer. She finished contested layups at the rim and rebounded the ball for the Eagles. Keep your eyes on Grace as she becomes a more vital role moving forward for the Eagles.
Ryenn Becher Ryenn Becher 6’3″ | C Linden | 2027 State MI is a lengthy 6’3 freshman for the Linden Eagles who used that length to help her team get two big wins this week. Her finishing around the rim and passing helped the team earn a victory against Genessee Christian Monday, then she came back with a 15 point, 9 block performance against Davison Wednesday. If Ryenn can develop her strength, finishing footwork, and outside shooting, she will be a very desirable prospect by coaches at the next level.
