The 2025 class rankings update saw 30 additional prospects join. With the large number and several debuting in the top 100 it is most common that majority of already ranked players will slide spots even if a player has advanced past several other previously ranked players. There have been some notable moves though. Take a look at notable moves upward from several players.

[player_tooltip player_id='349798' first='Anna' last='Becker'], 5'10", CG, Seaman - The first commit out of the junior class (Drake University), Becker was selected first team Centennial League in 2022 and United Kansas Conference in 2023. She also was a KBCA and Varsity Kansas 5A second team all-state selection. Becker joins the top five at #3 after advancing six spots.

[player_tooltip player_id='335922' first='KaMyra' last='Barber'], 5'9", PG, Wichita Heights - Barber is the newest member of the top ten after moving up a spot to #10. Playing at Wichita Northwest in 2023 she was a first team Greater Wichita Area League and Varsity Kansas 6A honorable mention selection.

[player_tooltip player_id='335953' first='SaMiyah' last='Ellis'], 5'9", PG, Wichita Heights - Ellis made a notable move within the top twenty by advancing seven spots to #13. Ellis led Wichita's The Independent School to a class 2A state tournament birth last season. A Central Plains League first team selection she also picked up Varsity Kansas 2A first team and KBCA 2A second team honors.

[player_tooltip player_id='539005' first='Saliyah' last='Henderson-Johnson'], 5'7", PG, Arkansas City - Breaking into the top twenty is arguably one of the most unknown, talented players in Kansas. She breaks in at #14 after climbing nine spots. She was a Arkansas Valley Chisholm Trail League division II honorable mention selection in 2023 and is easily one of the top five players in that league NOW. She also was a Varsity Kansas 5A honorable mention selection that should be rewarded with more significant attention at season's end by all sources of all-state teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='398380' first='Brylee' last='Meier'], 5'11", PF, Hayden - Meier made a strong move upward, climbing 11 spots to #21. A second team Centennial League and Varsity Kansas 4A honorable mention selection a season ago Meier was part of a state tournament team that was eliminated in the first round. After a drop into class 3A the Wildcats are one of the favorites to win this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='431037' first='Hayden' last='Heim'], 6'2", PF/C, St Marys - Among the biggest movers in the class Heim jumped 22 spots to #22. A first team Mid-East League selection last season she also was a KBCA 2A first team and Varsity Kansas third team honoree. Her play recently generated an offer from Emporia State University. After being eliminated in the first round of the state tournament last year Heim looks to lead the Bears to the 3A state tournament this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='459216' first='Katie' last='Linenberger'], 6'0", PF/C, Hays - While Linenberger was left out of post-season honors last season that will be the case in 2024. Climbing six spots to #46 she is one of the top top power forwards in the class. She can wear opponents out with her tenacity alone. A long-limbed shot blocker with a post game that just keeps getting stronger she also is one of the physically toughest players around. Linenberger can take a shot! Fast in transition with quick feet and very court aware she is among the team's leaders making noise in the Western Activities Conference and class 5A.

[player_tooltip player_id='675832' first='Anna' last='Duncan'], 5'11", SF, Valley Center - Blessed with a 6'3" wing span Duncan's game exploded over the summer and has been the Hornets strongest and most consistent players thus far. A player who did not receive post-season honors in 2023 she will be hard to ignore for all-Arkansas Valley Chisholm Trail League Div II teams this season and for the various all-state teams. Quickness, hops, speed, scoring ability, and among the best interior passers in the state. Duncan climbed 18 spots to #58.

[player_tooltip player_id='688279' first='Makenna' last='Balzer'], 5'8", CG, Trinity Academy - The Knights are making noise in 3A already and Balzer is a big reason why. Against Spring Hill earlier this season Balzer led the Knights with 15 points. She showed scoring ability at speed and through traffic, that she is a legitimate three ball threat, and is a quick and athletic mid-range shooter as well. Quick and fast she defends with headiness. Making a big move Balzer climbed 38 spots to #67. An easy Central Plains first or second team talent who should appear on all-state teams as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='525597' first='Abbie' last='Numrich'], 5'7", SG, Blue Valley Northwest - Numrich jumped 31 spots to #79. Playing with a loaded team in a loaded Eastern Kansas League Numrich has carved out her niche with both her high school and club teams. She has a very solid, all-around game but what sets her apart is her headiness, consistency, and prowess as a shooter. She has great recognition of opponent mistakes with the ability to make them pay. A solid pick for at least honorable mention at the league and all-state level.
