We Will Rock You: Best of Michigan

The first two games featured Ferndale, Dexter, Salem, and Midland Dow. She showed great awareness to anticipate and steal passes in help defense and won rebounding battles on both ends. Alena blocked shots and hit clutch free throws in key situations. She used her length and fancy footwork to finish a fake pass high pickup contested layup off the glass. She applied outstanding on-ball pressure all game to make guards uncomfortable: her pressure forced a 5 second call. Aaliyah has downhill speed to draw multiple defenders and the vision to distribute the ball to open posts inside. Aaliyah drained a pull up jumper in transition and demonstrated poise to run the offense. Madison swished a step back wing 3, split multiple defenders to score at the rim, and created transition baskets by deflecting passes on and off the ball.
