She was also a major reason her team made it to the finals in the Battle on the Island tournament. Blocton was also special in the offensive category and scoring nearly 20 in one of the games. Blocton has length, speed, and a motor that won’t quit. She was very impressive in the transition game. The young Sophomore gets better each time out. She is making a prophet out of coaches who told me over the summer that she was legit and before it’s said and done could be one of the best to ever play in Clay county.
Evelyn Freeman Evelyn Freeman 5'8" | PG Bolles | 2026 State FL , AKA “Evie” was the truth last week and the Sophomore baller impressed in a lot of categories. Her on-ball defense was good, and her timing on help-side defense was “brilliant. She played with a lot of basketball IQ on both ends of the floor. Freeman got to the rim with straight speed, with clever ball handling, and with the ability to maneuver through the defense. She also shot the three well last week. Known for a killer midrange, Freeman knocked down four or five threes in one game. The young Sophomore was the best player on the court.
Cami Waters Cami Waters 5'9" | SF Creekside | 2026 State FL was impressive last week and she is emerging as one of the top Sophomores on the First Coast. Waters has an all around game and plays on both ends of the court. In transition, Waters is a ball of energy who gets up and down the court and can finish on the break and stop opponents from scoring on the break. Defensively, Waters is good on the ball, defends in the passing lanes, and is great on helpside defense where she gets steals and blocks shots.

Trinity Berry Trinity Berry 5'8" | SG Jean Ribault | 2027 State FL played well in the Christmas tournament and just looks really comfortable on the court. Berry ran the floor well and had a nice pull up jump shot on the wing. Berry also stands out on the defensive end playing impressive on-ball defense.
Brie McCoy Brie McCoy 6'1" | PF Creekside | 2026 State FL went up against the power of Ridgeview and held her own on the boards and also in the post. McCoy was very impressive when scoring with her left hand. Her ability to score on the left block was lethal. Her conversions put the power in “power forward”. She also did a a good job of running the floor and scoring in transition, getting on the paint, and from scoring from behind the three point line.
Nylah Brooks Nylah Brooks 5'7" | SG West Florida | 2027 State FL has been getting it done as a Freshman. The young Freshman has been scoring and dishing the rock and putting up some very impressive numbers. Through 12 games, Brooks is averaging 10.4 points per game and has knocked down 12 threes. Brooks has a high ball IQ and great work ethic to go with a lot of skill. She can get to the rim, has excellent court vision, can pass the ball, and shoot the three. She is a special young player.

Terrell McCoy Terrell McCoy 6'0" | PF Bolles | 2026 State FL was a standout over the Holiday break as well. McCoy rebounded well, ran the floor well, and gave the Lady Bulldogs a legitimate scoring threat on the blocks. McCoy showed some great hands and some very good footwork. She did a good job of getting herself open and was very effective scoring the basketball. Her presence has opened up the three point shooting even more for the team.
