<p>The Lady Bulldogs won't be tested much in region play these next few weeks. Yesterday the Lady Bulldogs got a good test from Clarksville Christian out of Tennessee. Junior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='175325' first='Morgan' last='Champion']</strong> went down with an ankle injury at the 5:52 mark of the 2nd quarter and never returned to the game. The Lady Bulldogs led 21-16 at the halftime break. </p>

<p>Camden HS and the Centurions battled in the 2nd half before the Lady Bulldogs pulled away with a 44-36 victory. University of South Carolina signee <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='171798' first='Joyce' last='Edwards'] </strong>led the way with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals today. Freshman left-handed guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='324555' first='Braylin' last='Mungo']</strong> added 6 points and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='376018' first='Harmony' last='Jefferson'] </strong>mustered 4 points. </p>

<p><strong><em>Lady Lancers Duo Leads Away:</em></strong> </p>

<p>Legion Collegiate got strong play out of the guards yesterday. The Lady Lancers defeated Cheraw HS 52-39 here at the <strong><em>#RoadToTheChip</em></strong> Freshman <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='637608' first='Amelia' last='Williams']</strong> finished with 21 points for the Lady Lancers. Amelia was able to attack the basket all day long in transition and score a ton of buckets at the rim. Williams was able to drop some floaters along the way when she wasn't knocking down the mid-range jumper. </p>

<p>Sophomore duo <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='840365' first='Jaylen' last='McMurray']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='651635' first='Kaitlyn' last='Garvin']</strong> joined in on the action. McMurray played her best game pushing the ball out in transition and really looking to attack the basket. Jaylen was able to finish drives through contact on her way to scoring 13 points today. </p>

<p>Garvin was able to show her ability to jump off two feet and aplay. Kaitlyn jumped on the deck for a few loose ball opportunities. She finished with 7 points in the win. </p>

<p>The Cheraw HS Lady Braves were led by senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='487429' first='Myshauna' last='Worrell']</strong> with 13 points. <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='821367' first='Micah' last='Davis']</strong> had a big day down in the pain for the Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada. Davis finished with 33 points and converted 11-14 free throws along the way. Micah is a left-handed forward who plays her best basketball around the bucket just collecting putbacks and out hustling defenders at times. She had several second chance opportunities inside the paint and just really looked to outwork people all day long. </p>

<p>The host Wilson HS Lady Tigers came out on fire last night vs 1 of 1 Academy (NC). The Lady Tigers led 24-14 at the end of the 1st quarter. Guard<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='576593' first='Zoey' last='Miller'] </strong>scored the first 10 points of the game and helped Wilson HS to a 10-0 start. Freshman forward <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='444370' first='Logan' last='Murray']</strong> added 16 points in the game. Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='576594' first='Leanissa' last='Swinton'] </strong>added 8 points and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='688791' first='Gabby' last='White'] </strong>chipped in with 7 points. </p>
