Sunday Reflections

continued their excellent play of late with another district tourney win over Upperman 46-38.  [player_tooltip player_id='631094' first='Ellie' last='Butler'] was terrific again 20 points, 4 assists, 6 rebounds, 8-8 from the Free Throw line, and 2-3 from three.  [player_tooltip player_id='810494' first='Keely' last='Mullins'] was excellent as well chipping in 14 points on 6-11 shooting.  Livingston's defense always gives them a chance to win.....and you have to think the way the playoffs slow down plays into Livingston's for an 8th and Ida Bernard add an impressive 18, and Katie Pennington chipped in 17.  ER is playing their best basketball of the season at just the right '27 in the county Haylen Ayers led her team to the D-II A West Region Championship.  She was named MVP after finishing with a dominant 27 point, 5 rebound championship game performance. County has now won both the regular season, and district tournament champioships as they attempt to return to state for the first time since 2015.  While Abi Alexander and [player_tooltip player_id='810568' first='Abbilyn' last='Teter'] get most the headlines, the versatile play of Bush has really caught my eye.  Bush fills in all the gaps on offense.  The guards the best player of defense.  She a swiss army knife for this Cannon won their consolation game over Riverdale 70-34.  '25 guard [player_tooltip player_id='409037' first='Ayeden' last='Wilkerson'] had 17, and extended her stretch of really solid play.  [player_tooltip player_id='821670' first='Jade' last='Watson'] had an off night with only 10, but [player_tooltip player_id='326746' first='Maritza' last='Wright'] stepped up big with 16.  Rockvale is still reallllly season.  They will play in the championship game against White House on Monday at
