<p>The Legacy Early College Lady Lions took care of business on its home floor to claim the Inaugural The League Championship. The Lady Lions won 3 games in 3 straight days while knocking off the #1 and #2 seeds along the way. Legacy Early College defeated Example Academy (IL) in the Championship Game 66-52. </p>

<p>The Lady Lions received strong play from Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='176612' first='Zhykera' last='Brown']</strong> who led the way with 25 points. Brown was extremely all 3 days with her ability to slash to the cup. Zhykera dropped jumpers all week long wih her strong play and really overpower defenders to the cup. She scored 30 points in the semifinals vs [program_tooltip program_id='712489' first='DME' last=''] Academy. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='252864' first='Mila' last='Holloway']</strong> will play her college basketball at the University of Michigan next fall. Mila finished with 17 points in the Championship Game vs Example Academy. She did with a number of mid-range jumpers and finishing at the cup at a high clip. Holloway has the ability to create her own shot quite easily along with her setting up her teammates along the way. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='175309' first='Jaida' last='Cameron']</strong> a left-handed senior guard had a solid showing here in the Championship Game. Jaida finished with 10 points with some of her buckets coming at key moments in the game. Cameron likes to get out in transition and play the game fast whenever possible. Cameron hails from Florence, SC where she attended Wilson HS a season ago.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='275971' first='India' last='Smith'] </strong>came to Legacy Early College last fall from Asheville, NC. Smith a senior wing really can extend the defense with her ability to knockdown shots out on the perimeter. India seems to always be in shooting position to receive the ball in the pocket. She never looks to force her shot while really maintaining good shot selection. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='399248' first='Janyia' last='Williams']</strong> does all the little things to help your squad win games. Williams will set screens on the floor and play as a mover-screener. She rebounds the ball on both ends of the court and outside of her area. Janyia works down low carving out space while utilizing a nice drop-step move. Williams keeps on improving each time out with her play. </p>

James finished with 16 points on 4 three-pointers vs Legacy Early College here today. James elevates up on her jumper and showcased some pullup jumpers in transition today. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='265957' first='Trinity' last='Chears']</strong> is a tough-minded guard who likes to play attacking the cup. Trinity will use ball-screens to race to the cup at times. She dropped a few floaters on the way to the bucket today. Trinity does a lot of things that don't show up in the box score. She has no problems jumping on the deck for loose balls, taking charges and just being a great teammate. Trinity scored 10 points in the Championship Game vs Legacy Early College. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='661218' first='Noelani' last='Dunn']</strong> plays the game with so much HUSTLE at all times. Dunn got into foul trouble a bit here today. Noelani makes herself available for every loose ball when it comes to rebounding it outside of her area or jumping on the floor. She has no problems taking home a few floor burns each night. Noelani constantly has the MOTOR going for her squad. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='758886' first='Symora' last='Damon'] </strong>is just a freshman for Example Academy. Symora surely doesn't lack any confidence on the floor with her play. She is jet quick with the ball in her hands and really shows to have a quick set of hands on the defensive end. Damon is extremely quick getting the ball into the gaps and paint. At times she plays one step of everyone on the floor. </p>
