In this article, we highlight a team that many are familiar with in the Iowa Dream 2025. This Dream team is a group that started together under the Team Iowa program but this past year, they have separated so that they can compete on the Elite 40 circuit throughout the next 3-4 months. Each prospect that is listed on this roster can play. So much so that it wound’t surprised me if each of these athletes commit to play at the collegiate level in some form prior to their graduation. I’m excited to see what this group is going to be able to put together this season as a whole. With the right guidance, they are going to win a lot of games over these next few months. Below you can find the schedule for their upcoming season, along with their players on roster.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

Reagan Pagniano Reagan Pagniano 5’7″ | SG Pleasant Valley | 2025 State IA is a winner. A Point Guard with a swift demeanor, quick handle, crafty footwork, and an attitude. Throughout her career she has never let the moment get to her, always keeping her emotions in control even though she wears her heart on her sleeve. This Iowa Dream team is going to have 2-3 guards that can really handle it but I think their leader at Point will be Pagniano. She is fantastic at setting up the teammates around her for success, no matter what the objective is. She has been a constant producer over her high school career and I expect that on the road over these next few months as well.
The sharp shooter of this group will come in the form of Guard, Sydney Huber Sydney Huber 6’0″ | SG Mount Vernon | 2025 State IA . Huber has length, a picture perfected shot form, and coordinated balance whenever she is letting it go from deep. There isn’t a shot on the court that is too far away for Huber to take. She always seems to have her hands ready for a catch and shoot, with the ability to put the rock on the floor if the defense is overplaying her on any given possession. Defensively, she is just as active and able. She has length standing at around 6ft to interfere with any opponents shot and she is disciplined enough to stay down on all attempts. In the right situation, Huber excels and I can’t wait to see what she puts together with this group on the Select 40 Circuit.
The other Point Guard that this team possesses is Lauren Walker Lauren Walker 5’9″ | PG Central DeWitt | 2025 State IA from Central DeWitt High School. Walker is a prospect that keeps it simple and efficient. She has the ability to play on the ball or off at the 2 guard position, depending on what is being asked of her. I’m assuming that this group is going to play a lot of games where they run a dribble drive offense or a 5-0 type of motion. This is the type of offense that Walker could thrive in. She is good at making decisions and when she attacks, she isn’t afraid to facilitate to an open teammate when things open up and that’s what you need from a top-tier guard. I’ve had a lot of collegiate level coaches reach out about Walker with interest over these past six months. If she keeps up the hard work and stays productive, I’m sure that interest is going to grow.
Highlights
I’ve recently highlighted the play of Jayden Kuper Jayden Kuper 5’11” | SF Monticello | 2025 State IA so I’m not going to go into too much detail here but she is a prospect to keep an eye on. Over her high school career, she has been a constant on any floor that she has competed on. Like I’ve said in the past, she has great size, strength, and wherewithal on the hardwood. In the post she has the ability to score going over either shoulder, with either hand, usually through contact. When she has players around her that can knock down shots, she is a whole different beast to deal with. She thrives in 1v1 situations and I don’t expect that to slow down on the road anytime soon.
The versatility and type of game that Ella Moser Ella Moser 5’8″ | SG Cedar Rapids Kennedy | 2025 State IA has, translates to the next level in a couple of different ways and she is ready to show that off with this Iowa Dream team. Moser is her team’s high school PG but I think that it’s better to just consider her as a Guard. She can move between the 1, 2, or 3 position in the blink of an eye without of skipping a beat. This high school season, Moser and her Kennedy team may of not of had the year they were imagining but each night she still showed her worth. I wouldn’t be surprised if this Iowa Dream 2025 Team has every player commit to the collegiate level before their high school career comes to close, including Moser at the Shooting Guard spot.
The more that I watch Madeline Pavelka Madeline Pavelka CG Marion | 2025 State IA ‘s play-style, the most I fall in love with it. Pavelka can really do it all from everything I have seen over the past few months. She has size to dominate her matchup inside the lane, she is skilled enough to step up and knock down shots from both the midrange and behind the three point line, and she is a willing and very able passer whenever the defense wants to bring a double-team. I’m not going to lie, I hadn’t seen Pavelka prior to this High School season but now that I have, I would be SHOCKED if she didn’t have a college offer after these next few months. She is the real deal and she is only going to get better with experience.
Addyson Maurer
Addyson Maurer
Addyson Maurer is the type of player that works hard and because of that, she always happens to be in the right place at the right time. I couldn’t tell you the amount of times that I have seen Maurer knock down an open shot off of an offensive rebound or get a crucial tip on a ball that leads to a big play for her team. Over the past few seasons, the Pleasant Valley Spartans have shown their dominance as a program. Two years ago they got to the State Tournament for the first time and they brought home their first State Title while doing it. Last season, they put together another successful season, making the most of the chances that they got and a major reason for that was because of the play from prospects like Maurer. Every team needs that player that just makes it happen and I’ve seen Maurer make it happen A LOT these past few months so I’m excited to see it against some elite competition on the road.
Joining Jayden Kuper Jayden Kuper 5’11” | SF Monticello | 2025 State IA in the Post is a prospect that has been a producer at the Varsity level for a couple of years now in Claire Lueken Claire Lueken 6’0″ | SF Wahlert Catholic | 2025 State IA of Wahlert Catholic High School. Lueken has the combination that all coaches love. She has great size, footwork, coordination, touch on the ball, and knowledge of where she is on the floor when she is under the basket. She has displayed the ability to be able to step out and screen, with the choice to either roll or pop for a little mid-range pull up. This team is going to be quicker then most they face over these next few months and I think they will win a lot of games because of it. If the duo of Kuper and Lueken can handle the painted area, they are going to be primed for success this season.
