Just a heads up to the rest of the TN AAU world….this BMaze U17 team is TROUBLE.
Amaya Redd Amaya Redd 5’10” | SF Knox. Catholic | 2025 State TN has continued her dominance from Knox Catholics championship run! And this is what I love so much about AAU…simply watching how players exists in new basketball ecosystems. And, Amaya Redd Amaya Redd 5’10” | SF Knox. Catholic | 2025 State TN ‘s game is diverse! She can slide up and down the roster, guard multiple positions. The kid is a straight chameleon.
In BMaze’s big win over 3SSB AELB with 15 points and 7 boards.
Yes m’am Cailyn Taylor Cailyn Taylor 5’8″ | SG Webb School Of Knoxville | 2027 TN !!! A day after bragging on her ability to make those around her better, we got to watch her drop a smooth 20 points playing up in the ’25 division. She displayed her whole bag–open catch and shoot, quick trigger off the dribble, hesi’s to get the rim.
And showed a love for playing defense and getting on the floor to win 50/50s. A superb weekend for this kid.

I knew about Jareah Branch Jareah Branch 5’11” | CG Hillcrest Tuscaloosa | 2025 State AL as a Ms. Basketball candidate in Alabama, but knowing and actually seeing are two very different things. Branch is a STAR. I have an affinity for players that can play a multitude of roles, and Branch is gifted in her diversity. She has the size and strength to play bully ball at the rim. She has a skill set that allows her to be a creative finisher in the paint. She’s got the entire bag of finishes and nice floater. Her jumper is smooth, and she can get it it lighting quick off the dribble. She was the best play on the floor A LOT this weekend.

Dee Williams is WAY UNDER THE RADAR!! She’s already a college caliber defender and rebounder. Who you play with matters, and a kid like Dee Williams, needs good guards around her to help her excel (which is pretty normal for any back to the basket post). She’s simply an animal on the glass and protecting the rim. Her offensive game is still a work in progress, but she showed all the physical tools to be a special player this weekend.
I’ll be honest…I have an affinity for the Lebanon kids. I just think they play the right way, and I really enjoyed watching them this year. So watch Tiara Spencer Tiara Spencer 5’8″ | PG Lebanon | 2026 State TN go off and hit seven 3’s vs AEBL was awesome!!! Spencer is a special talent, and if that 3 point shot is truly becoming THIS GOOD as she enters her junior year……she’s about to be a PROBLEM!

A Kentucky kid that I was able to get my eyes on for the first time. Gosh…stands 6’1 but plays 6’4. No one was able to keep her off the glass this weekend, and her grittiness pursuing offensive rebounds is off the charts. She has a developing offensive game, but showed that when she catches deep, she incredibly efficient at the rim. Had to have a double-double in the games I saw. Has all the physical gifts to be a special player.
Kiley Johnson Kiley Johnson 5’2″ | PG Bradley Central | 2027 TN ’27 didn’t see much PT as a freshman for the 4A state champs, but….when you play for a really good program and coach–the practices are what really counts. And its OBVIOUS that she just finished a season of Jason Reuter led practices, as she looks like a different kid from last AAU season.
I watched her explode for 17 points and 15 points. She’s always been a really nice 3 point shooter, but her game has taken a jump in terms of ball handling, passing and defense. Great showing by this kid on Saturday.
