Alicia has speed athleticism and has a nice shot. She finished her high school career at in the to ten at #7 and will take her talents to the University of Richmond. She is a potential freshman of the year candidate from her first day on campus and I’m expecting to see her name next to some all conference awards.
Highlights
#19 to 17
Chrisdin looked like she got settled in with her new school toward the end of the season. She showed leadership coaching up her teammates and looked like a player ready for the next level moving up a couple of spots to #17.
#109 to #36
21 ppg and 6 rebounds earned her the SMAC Player of the Year award and got her over a 50 spot jump to #36 in final rankings. She’s a 5’9 shooting guard with good athleticism that has a game that should. translate well at the college level. She is all a member of the 1000 point club.
#59 to #26
Arianna put together a streak of double-doubles in route to a state championship for Poly. A 5’9″ her interior play was great as she was able to out play several six footers in both scoring and rebounds. She finished her high school career on top and will be moving on to bigger things.
#71 to #66
Aliyah played well off of her sister Bree as she does some of the little things on the court to determine wins and losses. Playing hard is something everyone can do but only a few do. Playing hard for her means she’s going after lose balls and finishing on plays that she should.
