Halle Bufford of Clay Co led all scorers with 22 points, and Madison Hayes had 17.
Clay will now go on the road to Van Buren on Saturday night.

McEwen (20-8) 28
Wayne County won big (64-28) win over McEwen on Wednesday for the Class 1A, Region 6 championship.
Wayne County (29-3) won their third straight region championship and will now host Eagleville (18-11) in a substate game Saturday night.
Kenzie Griggs Kenzie Griggs 5'7" | SG Wayne Co. | 2024 State TN scored 14 points and Blair Baugus Blair Baugus 6'0" | PF Wayne Co. | 2025 State TN 10 for Wayne County. Blair Baugus Blair Baugus 6'0" | PF Wayne Co. | 2025 State TN is likely the best 1A player in the state, and she barely broke a sweat in this one.
Shana Bohannon‘s 12 points paced McEwen (20-8), which will travel to Moore County on Saturday.

Coffee County won the R5-4A Championship in commanding fashion over Lincoln County. This is the first ever Region Championship in Lady Raider history!
Coffee jumped out to an early 18-10 lead and never looked back. Channah Gannon Channah Gannon 6'0" | PF Coffee Co. | 2025 State TN saved her best performance of the tourney for the most important game, as she had 21 points and 12 rebounds. Olivia Vinson Olivia Vinson 5'11" | SG Coffee Co. | 2025 State TN had 13, Natalie Barnes Natalie Barnes 5'7" | SG Coffee Co. | 2026 State TN had 10, freshman PG Jules Ferrell Jules Ferrell 5'7" | PG Coffee County Central | 2027 TN finished with 7, Audri Patton Audri Patton 5'8" | SG Coffee County Central | 2026 State TN had 3.

Coffee will now host R6 runner up Hendersonville (20-9). Lincoln will travel to Beech (22-8) in what is a very winnable game for Lincoln.

Elizabethton (13-17) 59
Greeneville won the Region 1-3A championship last Wednesday night defeating Elizabethton, and continuing Greeneville’s magical run after upsetting David Crockett.
Abby Adkins led Greenville with 23 points, and Maria Lyde ’27 had 15 (I really like this freshman!).
Peyton McGee led the way for Elizabethton with 19. Reiley Whitson had 15. District MVP Marlee Mathena had 11. Michelle Shields Michelle Shields 5'10" | PG Elizabethon | 2026 State TN had 8.
Cloudland (26-1) 26
North Greene (25-10) 17
Cloudland packed things in versus the North Green twin towers, and came away as R1-A champs. With the win, Cloudland will host Sunbright. North Greene will travel to Midway. In a game that was incredibly slow and methodical, Cloudland was up 10-4 at the half.]
Ryan Turbyfill scored the first 7 points of the 2nd half, and led Cloudland with 9. Turbyfill, Makinna Shell and Isabella Christman were all name to the all-tourney team.

For North Greene, Hannah Miller Hannah Miller 6'1" | PF North Greene | 2025 TN , Heidi Harmon, and Ella Head were all 3 named to the All-Tournament team.

Dobyns-Bennett (23-8) 27
Sevier County continued their incredible season with a Region 1-4A championship last night. With 3 1,000 point scorers and a ton of depth…this team simply knows how to win………….but now they are hosting Bearden Saturday as their “reward” for winning the region. D-B will travel to Farragut.
Cybil Penland Cybil Penland 5'10" | SG Sevier Co. | 2025 State TN led all scorers with 10.
Loveday finished with nine points for the Bearettes. Aubree Laney Aubree Laney 5'8" | SF Lakeway Christian Academy | 2024 State TN and Carsyn Loveday each had eight.
Payton Moore’s seven points led Dobbyns-Bennett, all coming in the second half.
