As we finish up the most recent quarterly rankings updates, our focus is now on the young but intriguing 2027 class. While there is still a lot of time left in their playing careers, several members of this class have flashed upside, so regardless of where a player might be ranked right now, there is still a lot of time left in their careers and the potential for all of these ladies to continue to grow their game. Below is a look specifically at the top point guard prospects in 2027.

NOTEWORTHY UPDATES:

[player_tooltip player_id='751072' first='Jada' last='Frieson'], 2027, 5-4 PG, Warren Central H.S.
- Jada is a strong, compact, tough-nosed, fairly athletic guard. I really like her as an attacker off the bounce, as she absorbs contact well and can finish inside. As she continues to work on her game and add a little more touch outside, as well as changes directions better in traffic, look for her to be that much tougher to defend.

[player_tooltip player_id='756239' first='Riley' last='Huotari'], 2027, 5-6 PG, Franklin Central H.S.
- Riley was thrown into the fire immediately at Franklin Central, along with a few other Freshman, and there were times her poise and stability at the point caused a calming influence on her teammates. Over the next three years, if she can make shots consistently and be an effective scorer, she could be a really nice recruit.

[player_tooltip player_id='633002' first='Maddison' last='Lawson'], 2027, 5-4 PG, John Adams H.S.
- Maddison had a productive season for the Eagles, and she offers them a bright future at a key position. She is steady with the ball, she has some toughness to her, and she will play with a motor. If she continues to build and/or refine her skillset, she can become a multilevel scorer sooner rather than later.

[player_tooltip player_id='751032' first='Abigail' last='Orme'], 2027, 5-4 PG, Hamilton Southeastern H.S.
- I saw Abigail in the Fall at a showcase event, and she was a ball of energy. She plays very hard, she's quietly tough, and she just gets after it at both ends of the floor. Despite her size and the Royals' depth, she figured out a way to earn some Varsity minutes this season. She offers a lot of "intangibles" to her team(s).

[player_tooltip player_id='751103' first='Marley' last='Warren'], 2027, 5'5. Trinity Lutheran H.S.
- It's not a very tall PG class, and Marley is another feisty, tough-nosed, hard-working kid who can affect a game. She has a nice awareness and basketball IQ, and she doesn't seem to make the same mistakes over and over again. She came up huge for her team this Winter, averaging 14.4 points and knocking down 41 3-pointers.
