is widely regarded as one of the top players in Northwest Indiana, and she continues to back that up with her ability to score the basketball at a high level. She plays with confidence and a clear understanding of how to generate offense, whether that’s in transition, in the half court, or when creating her own shot off the dribble.
What makes Patterson especially dangerous is her ability to put pressure on defenses in multiple ways. She can get to her spots, create separation, and finish plays consistently. When she gets into a rhythm, she is capable of taking over stretches of a game and shifting momentum quickly. That scoring ability is a major reason she is projected to be in strong contention for player of the year next high school season.
She also brings a competitive presence that matches her offensive production. Patterson doesn’t hesitate in big moments and tends to play with an assertive mindset that allows her to stay engaged throughout the game. As she continues to refine efficiency and expand her all-around impact, her value as a go-to scorer and leader for her team continues to rise.

Kenzie is always an entertaining watch. She is quick & shifty off the dribble, she does a nice job of getting defenders off-balance, and she can turn the corner or create space to get her shot away. She shoots it with range, but she is also a multilevel scorer who has a nice little pull-up plus the athleticism to finish inside. She looks like she’s absorbing contact better, and that will be an area of concern heading toward college, however, she has good burst and creativity, so she can adapt and make plays regardless.

I can remember hearing buzz about “Kenzie” all the way back to when she was in 7th Grade. She has always been a quick and shifty playmaker, she can fill it up from the perimeter, plus she’s creative off the dribble and can score it at all three levels or find open teammates, which is likely why she is already committed to the Ball State Cardinals. In just three years’ time, she has recorded 1827 points, 463 rebounds, 272 assists, and 292 steals. This season, she averaged 25.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 4.4 steals per game. She is always an entertaining watch.
