In the article below, we highlight five prospects that did a great job of showing out in their own special ways throughout the past few days, while helping their teams compete each contest.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
This past weekend Haevyn Ranschau Haevyn Ranschau 5’9″ | SG Rock Valley | 2026 State IA put together a rememberable weekend with how well she shot the basketball from deep. Whenever you bring up Haevyn, you are usually speaking about how well she can shoot the basketball from deep and that was on full display these past couple of days. In one contest specifically, she ended with six made 3-pointers, while also recording a handful of rebounds and steals on the defensive side of the ball. When I first had the chance to see Haevyn compete, she demonstrated that she could shoot the leather off of the ball from any distance and that hasn’t changed one bit over the past two years. She is shooting at high rate with a lot of confidence right now, while also displaying that she is an able rebounder and someone that can put the ball on the ground if the defense over-plays her. She is playing some great ball at the moment and it’s only going to get better if she stays confident in her abilities.

Sara Harley Sara Harley 5’9″ | SG Millard North | 2025 State NE and her Nebraska Supreme 17U team had a solid weekend in Iowa, where they went 3-1, only losing a game in overtime mostly due to foul trouble. Harley is a taller prospect on this roster and so she is asked to do a lot of different things throughout a contest for her squad. This weekend she was switching between guarding the biggest opponent on the opposing team to guarding the smaller opponents in switching situations. Other than her on-ball defense, her defensive awareness in general is impressive. She is someone that knows where her opponents want to go with the ball and she is very good at anticipating passes that those opponents are trying to make, leading to a bunch of tips, deflections, and steals throughout. Don’t get it twisted, offensively she is just as solid. She contributes any chance she gets on that side of the ball but she really thrives on defense and that was blatantly obvious this past weekend.
Halle Dolliver Halle Dolliver 5’10” | CG Malcolm | 2026 State NE is someone that is always going to give you some sort of production. She is the type that can go out and score 30 points in a hurry or she can have a double-double by halftime. It really just depends on what the defense is going to give her during that specific game. This weekend you saw both of these things out of Dolliver. She had one contest in which she scored near 30 points in her teams victory and another game where she recorded 12 Points-10 Rebounds. Other than putting together a solid weekend on the court, she also received an offer from the University of South Dakota and their new coaching staff. This is a great offer for the Coyotes. Dollar lives in a near by state and she brings A LOT to the table. She showed that off this weekend and she will continue to show off this ability any chance she gets.

I have briefly talked about Maya Dolliver Maya Dolliver 5’7″ | PG Pender | 2025 State NE during the past high school season but she came to play yet again this weekend. Dolliver is a “Swiss-army knife” type prospect. Whatever her team needs from her, she is willing to do without the recognition of praise or getting the credit for. She is someone that can score if her team needs her in that moment to score, she can defend if her team needs her to defend, and most importantly – she plays team basketball. All in all, this is one of those players that every coach loves to coach but opposing coaches hate to coach against. She works hard on both sides of the floor and she never takes plays off on either end. This weekend she was doing more of the same and just making it happen. Whenever her team needed a bucket, she got it for them. Whenever they needed a stop, she came up big. At times she really shows that she possesses that “it” factor. No matter the situation, she makes “it” happen and that is something that you can’t teach from a coaching perspective. You just need to sit back and let it happen. This team put together a solid weekend as a group and Dolliver shined as one of the best. I’m not sure if any collegiate programs have reached out to her about her future but if she continues to play at this rate, it’s only a matter of time.

I briefly highlighted Addison Bratt Addison Bratt 5’11” | SG Elkhorn North | 2027 NE and her Nebraska Attack 15U team last week so it comes to no surprise to myself that this group put together another solid weekend in Kansas City. Bratt is someone that is years above her age level in skill on the basketball court. She has fantastic size and demeanor with the basketball in her hands. Both of those things were on displays this weekend and working at a high rate in her teams contests. Bratt is someone that saw the Varsity floor as a Freshman this past winter, playing meaningful minutes with her time on the court. This weekend she did more of the usual and she was killing her personal matchup at a high rate, while also being someone who was willing to pass when things opened up for her fellow teammates. It’s scary to say but I think that her best basketball is still in front of her. She has been fantastic up until this point in her career but if she keeps expanding her skill-set, she is going to be someone we talk about a lot more moving forward.
