This past weekend marked the second "live" period of the Spring for women's basketball prospects, as teams traveled all across the country to be evaluated by college coaches of all levels. I spent my weekend in Louisville, Kentucky, at The Classic, an annual event put on by Ohio Basketball. I have had a few follow-up articles, with this one focusing on eight ladies who played with nice versatility when I was able to see them. With 41 courts and roughly 500 teams at the event, I wasn't able to see everyone or everyone's entire slate of games, but I tried to see teams I was less familiar with, though there was some overlap.

Her ability to score it from the perimeter really puts opponents in a bind as to how they want to u0022helpu0022 off of her. Her best days are still ahead, because she'll only get stronger.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["425632"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"u0022K-Raeu0022, as she's informally known, has always flashed a great deal of versatility and position flexibility, but as she has gotten stronger over the past year, she is starting to really settle into a nice scoring role. When she was younger, she was more of a point forward type, and she does still have that ball skill present. But she is looking to drive it for scores more, her touch outside has become more consistent, and I like the new physicality she's playing with at both ends.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["570372"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Kassie could have popped up in a couple of different articles this week, because there are a lot of different ways she can affect a game. I chose versatility, because she literally plays everywhere on the floor. She is very aggressive, both as a scorer and defender, and she is a pursuing rebounder who can also get physical inside. She is strong and tough enough to battle forwards and posts, but she also flies up the floor in transition as a guard/wing who can score it at all three levels.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["366803"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Lindsey is another prospect whose position is probably best listed as simply a ballplayer. She might not be the best in the state at any one thing, but she does most things well. She can handle the ball a little and initiate the offense, she can attack the basket and create for herself or others, and she has the touch outside to consistently bury a couple of rhythm 3-pointers when open. She also plays with a nice motor and quiet toughness, and she can defend any of three positions.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["665452"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"When I saw Grace last Spring u0026amp; Summer, she was this skillful, fluid, and somewhat smooth wing forward. She has gotten much stronger, she's playing with more physicality and toughness, and she has been good inside the arc this Spring. She still has the perimeter skillset and the ability to affect the game from the wing, but she's also great in the mid-post, where she can knock down the 15-footer, get to the rim and finish, plus she can defend multiple positions well.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["486495"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"I know I've mentioned Olivia a few times this Spring, but it's really hard not to mention someone when they continuously affect games because of their effort and toughness. This time, however, I want to point to Olivia's versatility. She has really nice length, wiry strength, and she's a solid all-around athlete. I feel like she continues to improve her skillset and can play multiple positions at both ends of the floor. She can score it inside and out, and she will defend guards or forwards.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["751073"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"I feel like when I first saw Jailen in the Fall at our Freshman Showcase, she was a bit under the radar and just starting to figure things out, but you could see the potential there. Now, she looks like she's still growing, she has gotten stronger, and she's playing with much more confidence and aggression. She had a nice Winter for Brebeuf, she's scoring the ball at all three levels for her grassroots team, but she's also playing with more physicality and toughness now, too.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_7_player":["751082"],"_player_evaluations_7_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"Kara is a part of a strong youth movement at Plainfield, and she brings a lot of toughness and physicality to the lineup for the Quakers.
