Team United Wins Game:

Team United won easy in the game we watched here today. [player_tooltip player_id='671511' first='Chloe' last='Ross'] was playing down in the paint for Team United. Ross informed Prep Girls Hoops that she will be playing back at Butler HS come this fall. Chloe was carving out space all day and delivering blow after blow down in the paint. She has GREAT HANDS and FOOTWORK around the floor. Chloe is a very deceptive athlete who certainly knows how to play on contact as a mover-screener.

[player_tooltip player_id='458565' first='Khloe' last='Thompson'] set the tone from out top with her ability to survey the floor and run the offense. Thompson is quite shifty with the ball in her hand while changing directions. Khloe raced by defenders today while getting the ball into the gaps and he paint area.

[player_tooltip player_id='235705' first='Makailah' last='Davis'] can play both guard positions in the backcourt. Makailah was able to drop some short jumpers when she wasn't finishing some floaters here in the lane today. Davis came to the Hoop State a season ago and attended South Meck HS last season.

The day started off with [program_tooltip program_id='713558' first='Lady' last='Attack Elite'] 16U National winning easily over [program_tooltip program_id='713540' first='Team' last='Curry'] 16U Rise. [player_tooltip player_id='509518' first='Jeta' last='North'] was able to finish around the bucket with both hands here today. North was able to drop some short jumpers. [player_tooltip player_id='509880' first='Emma' last='Montanari'] really took high percentage shots here today and was quite effective with her production. Emma delivered baskets by scoring through contact and connecting on some short jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='509585' first='Jaiden' last='Thompson'] a left-handed wing player was able to attack and slash to the bucket here today. Thompson an athletic forward was able to get by defenders and finish at the cup. Jaiden understands on how to play through contact taking the ball to the rack. She played extremely active in the passing lanes picking up some deflections along the way today.

Who Else Caught Our Eye?:

[player_tooltip player_id='288424' first='Trista' last='Charles'] is running with Team KMA this Grassroots season. Charles a left-handed guard-wing showed good versatility with her play today on the floor. Trista was able to find open teammates in transition and made heady decisions with her play making skills. Charles can also take on the burden at times to look to score the ball when needed. She was able to finish some open looks and finish plays when needed today.

[player_tooltip player_id='686418' first='Happy' last='Arune'] didn't really score the ball well here today. The thing that stands out with her is her height down low. Happy moves extremely well around the floor. She has the ability to challenge and alter shots on defensive end of the court. Happy is certainly farther ahead on her game from defensive end of the floor than the offensive.

[player_tooltip player_id='755820' first='Hina' last='Nakamura'] is playing up an age group with [program_tooltip program_id='713540' first='Team' last='Curry'] 16U Rise. Nakamura seems to be a very confident shooter from the perimeter. She connected on a few three-pointers here this weekend when we saw her play. Hina seems to have a solid feel for the game for her age. She has a nice sweet stroke and always seems to be ready to receive the ball in the pocket.
