[program_tooltip program_id='712672' first='Michigan' last='Crossover EYBL'] has been a passing ship in the night for me this spring as we have been at different locations since the beginning of April. I had my eyes locked and my pen loaded to get a good look at these 2028-2025 classes. Here are a few of the girls who really caught my attention this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='502311' first='Mariah' last='Sain'] dominated at our Top 250 Expo last fall with her freakish athleticism and explosiveness to the basket. She has improved her outside shooting and knocked down 3's this weekend, while also causing havoc defensively and blocking shots. She exclusively ran the PG position over the weekend and excelled. Mariah wowed me as she stopped on a dime and floated high in the air to drill a mid-range jumper. She is without a doubt the best guard prospect in Michigan. She had an outstanding weekend for [program_tooltip program_id='712672' first='Michigan' last='Crossover EYBL'] 2025 and I look forward to seeing her play with Cece this summer for Muskegon.

[player_tooltip player_id='866194' first='Aaliyah' last='Frost'] is a PG who stood out to me early in the spring and did so once again at the Memorial Day Shootout for [program_tooltip program_id='712672' first='Michigan' last='Crossover EYBL'] 2027 this weekend. Aaliyah is a shifty guard whose vision is a strength. Her wow moment came when she attacked the basket on a drive to draw to defenders and then deliver a baseline wrap-around assist to her teammate. Aaliyah has range to hit shots outside and off mid-range pull-ups. She proved her toughness to finish through a foul in the lane and knocked down her free throw.

She showed the ability to use a pound dribble drop step left pivot in the low post and finished in the paint. Cameryn will even forward pivot to shoot a fadeaway mid-range jumper over defenders. She is an extremely promising post prospect for DEPSA who I look forward to seeing develop and watch this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='859826' first='Paisley' last='Stephens'] is going to be a special high school talent for Belleville next season. She grabbed my attention for [program_tooltip program_id='712672' first='Michigan' last='Crossover EYBL'] 2028 this weekend with her tenacious defense and dynamic offensive abilities. She stole a pass and then used a fake pass to finish off two feet in the paint. Paisley drilled a 3 from up top and used lateral pushouts to drive by her defenders and attack the basket. She made the extra pass after drawing defenders and is going to be a prospect our scouts and college coaches would enjoy watching compete at our Freshman Showcase this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='420490' first='Ava' last='Lord'] had an impressive weekend for [program_tooltip program_id='712672' first='Michigan' last='Crossover EYBL'] 2025 at the Memorial Day Shootout this weekend. She finished strong off two in the paint and consistently knocked down many pull-up jumpers from the deep corner with balance and smooth follow-through. She showed her ability to face up and beat defenders to the rim, scoring on a high pick-up layup. I am excited to watch her and other Lakers step into larger roles this summer.

Breasia set the tone for her team defensively on Sunday, with an authoritative block in the paint and multiple deflections. She delivered a long transition assist on the money to her teammates and was a verbal communicator on defense. Breasia finished off two in the paint and is another Laker I'm eager to watch in a larger role this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='716698' first='Pria' last='Johnson'] was a known prospect who was new to me this weekend and one who cemented herself in my mind as a top 5 SF/W in the state for the 2025 class. Pria dominated on both ends all weekend making guards look small as she swatted their shot attempts away in the paint. Pria defended with great body control and identified when to block a shot or force a miss by walling up. She finished powerful contested shots inside off two and continually outworked defenders for rebounds. Pria is a prospect who I will enjoy watching again this summer with DEPSA.
