As we reach the midpoint of the first July "live" weekend, the annual Run 4 Roses Classic tournament in Louisville, Kentucky, has come to an end. Below is a quick look at a final half dozen prospects who stood out on Day-3 when I was able to see them in action.

Soriah is one of the most well-rounded, balanced, and versatile guards in the 2025 class in Indiana. To me at least, she has some similarities to 2024's Aubrie Booker (Center Grove/IU-South Bend). Soriah is long, athletically built, fluidly athletic, and just all-around smooth. She is one of those kids who might not be elite at any one trait, but she also isn't deficient at anything. She can handle and make plays, she can score it at the basket, she can bury an open jumper, plus she rebounds and defends her position with energy. She can plug into most lineups and help.

There are prospects you see when they are young, and they make you feel old when they are close to graduation. Brookelynn is one of those, and I can remember when she was just a little baller between 7th & 8th grade. She has always been a very competitive kid who loves to be in the gym. She is long, wiry-strong, and a nice, versatile athlete. She can play on the ball and run offense, but she is also a nice multilevel scorer who can make shots when in rhythm. Her urgency defensively has probably improved the most over the years.

This Spring the "Olivias" seem to be stepping it up when it comes to playing with competitive motors and giving it all they have. [player_tooltip player_id='923097' first='Olivia' last='Fry'] is no exception, and she has really helped her recruiting because of her intensity and toughness. She is quick, fast, and has a really nice feel for the game. She is a selfless passer who gets the ball where it needs to go, plus she can get to the basket and finish herself. She has continued that intensity defensively, turning opponents, and making them uncomfortable handling the ball.

Nina has really helped herself through three days in July, and there is a lot to like about her as an athlete. First, she has tremendous length, and when you combine that with her quickness at her height, she can be a true lockdown defender who can contain point guards, plus she's a problem to manage at the tip of defenses and traps. Offensively, she is still more of a slasher and mid-post scorer, so stretching her range will need some work, but her handle has improved, and she can make plays off the bounce.

Reese is one of those forwards who several of the Midwestern small colleges tend to really like. She has an athletically strong frame, nice length, she plays with physicality, and she has a motor. She can step outside and knock down a rhythm jumper, she can attack the basket North/South and finish through contact, plus she has a really nice mid-range game. Reese also has a nose for the ball and will rebound outside of her area, and she can defend different types of players effectively.

Saturday was my first time watching Lucy, and she might have been one of the more entertaining kids I saw in this tournament. I don't know where she'll fall in terms of recruiting...the next couple of years will help determine that...but she is a ballplayer. She is compact, strong, and tough-nosed, she can handle it and find teammates on time/on target, plus she has a beautiful stroke from the 3-point line. Stylistically, she reminds me a little of 2020 Bethesda Christian grad Maddi Fulks (Cornerstone University), and Maddi scored a mere 1947 points in high school.
