Now that the Spring & Summer grassroots season is in the past, and student-athletes returning to their regular school schedules, I wanted to take the time to highlight a handful of 2026 prospects who I feel are still under-recruited and offer a great deal of value for the next level. The following prospects are all ranked in the PGH Indiana Top-75 for 2026, but probably deserve a bit more college attention than they are getting at this time.

Indiah is one of the most talented athletes in the state in the 2026 class, and while the class is loaded, I still feel like more people should be talking about her. She is strong & physical, she can get out and go North/South, plus she has some shiftiness and bounce to her as well. She has solid ball skill and can play a point forward role, but she can also play in the mid-post, take smaller defenders to the block, rebound from anywhere on the floor, and defend multiple positions. To me, she has some similarities to maybe a younger Alyssa Thomas (Connecticut Sun) stylistically.

Berkeley is a tremendous high school player and one of those players coaches would love to coach. She plays with a ton of energy, toughness, leadership, and urgency. She is skilled and has done a nice job of transitioning from more of a wing in 8th Grade to a traditional point guard now. She can make shots, and with range, she can get downhill and put pressure on the defense, plus she understands how to sense tone and get her team into the appropriate schemes. She is in a loaded class of guards and wings, but she is someone who can help a program win at the next level.

I saw Elle on about 5-6 occasions throughout June & July, and at least twice, she torched the nets for anywhere from six to nine 3-pointers in each of those games. She is starting to come into her own, getting stronger, more fluid, and more explosive. She has ball skill, obvious touch from the perimeter, but she is handling pressure better and sitting down defensively much better. I think she is a Division-I prospect, but there is still some "wait-and-see" to her game. With the growth she's shown just in the last calendar year, I think she could continue to rise through the 2026 rankings.

With size at a premium these days, I'm a little surprised more schools aren't recruiting Laila yet. She has grown consistently throughout high school, she is a solid North/South athlete who can get out and run in transition, plus she has some halfcourt skill. She does still need to finish growing, gain some strength, and become a little more fluid, however she doesn't shy away from contact, she pursues rebounds, and she blocks/alters a lot of shots. She has a developing back-to-the-basket game, but she also has some touch in the mid-post. I am anxious to see what the next two years look like for her.

Lilly was unfortunately injured during the Spring, so a big reason she is on this list is because of her lack of visibility throughout the grassroots season. She is a big, strong, physical post player who likes to seek contact and enforce her will inside. She has good hands, solid footwork, and she is very effective with her back to the basket. She was starting to show more skill facing the basket in the mid-post and short corners, so as she gets healthy, I'll be anxious to see that part of her game continue to grow.

Kamri is one of the tougher, more physical wings in this class, and she plays with a great deal of versatility. I've mentioned before that she's difficult to define by position, because she can play on the ball and run offense, she can play on the wing and shoot/score it consistently from there, plus she's strong enough to play in the mid-post and almost dominate that area of the floor against smaller teams. She plays with a nice motor, she loves contact, and she will battle for rebounds in the paint or outside of her area. Look for her to have a strong Junior season at Rensselaer Central.
