Avery Vanderburg Avery Vanderburg 5'9" | CG Wilbraham & Monson | 2028 State New E (2028) | 5'9 CG | WMA

Avery is a strong and super competitive 2-way player that excels within the offense while showing some capabilities of creating for herself. She finishes through tough layups even when there didn't seem like there was much space to operate. Avery's 3-point shot is a solid option within the offense too. Her tenacious spirit seems to help lift her game to a higher level. She is doing everything her team requires of her and even some of the small things that don't show up in the stat sheet. Vanderburg brings that same ferocious attitude to the defensive side of the ball. She shows great hustle and perseverance. The 5'9 guard is strongly built which helps her absorb contact while players are driving to the rim. Avery's utilitarian game will help her find meaningful minutes on the floor this year as a freshman.

Natalia Silva Natalia Silva CG State New E comes in as the second-best combo guard on the list. She's also the first Maine representative here. Silva is a dynamic combo guard that can find herself anywhere on the perimeter. The athleticism and mixed skillsets make her one tough cover. The 3-point shot is well constructed all the way from the base to the release. The tight handle allows her more room on the floor to operate freely. She can put together strings of plays that are dazzling in a burst. Natalia gets after it on defense as well. She is a hound that takes her defensive assignments seriously. Her defensive efforts get her out in transition for easy points. Look out for Silva as the year progresses and her name starts to gain more traction.

Jazlynn Booth (2028) | 5'4 CG | Suffield Academy

Jazlynn would be in the elite tier of point guards, but her versatility on the perimeter positions allows her to fit at the top of this list. Jazlynn comes in as the #13 ranked player in the class. Her driving attacks are next level. Booth keeps her dribble alive and her head up at all times while slicing through the lane. Jazlynn can get to the rim with a few dribbles or drop a nice dime off to her teammates as defenders step up. The speed Booth possesses with the ball in her hand make her a tough assignment for many defenders trying to stay in front of her. On defense, Jazlynn can guard just about any ballhandler with her footspeed. Her awareness also makes her a solid team defender. Overall, Jazlynn is an impressive 2028 combo guard with a bright future.

Saige DeJesus Saige DeJesus 5'7" | CG Winchendon | 2028 State New E (2028) | 5'7 CG | Winchendon

Saige is a smooth guard that impacts the game with her overbearing offensive skills. The 5'7 combo guard plays with a fluidity that can easily translate to the next level already. The work in the offseason is more than apparent due to polished game at such a young age. Saige remains a threat at all times with the ball in her hands. She can put together a flurry of silky-smooth moves that keep the defense off balance and she will pull up whenever she deems there's a sliver of space available. DeJesus' ability to use screens is truly what will separate herself on the high school level. She is patient while running off staggered, back or flare screens and the footwork paired with movement allow her to gracefully get to her spots without wasted effort. Saige has a high IQ as well when it comes to decision making. In a split second she is making a reaction to either pull up or dice through the lane and get a basket. She's also a quality free throw shooter as well. DeJesus brings solid rebounding at the guard position. She gives the ball up quickly and hits the lane wide as she's anticipating hitting a shot in transition or swiftly attacking the rim. Saige's celling is through the roof. Winchendon has themselves a great freshman talent coming in.

Zareia Colome Zareia Colome CG Tolman | 2028 State New E (2028) | CG |

Zareia is an energetic scorer that has some of the best handle in the entire class. Her ball handling and shooting off the dribble skills alone make her a 2028 standout talent. She constantly puts pressure on defenders attempting to stay in front with her seamless lateral setup moves. Colome's main objective is to attack the person in front of her at all times. She may rock a defender to sleep before kicking into gear. Defenders can never crowd her, but also can't sit back and watch her shoot. This dilemma makes it hard for even the savviest of defenders from stopping her. Zareia creates mismatches which opens up things for other on the floor. The swagger and competitive nature Colome bring to the floor makes her even more spectacular to watch. Her teammates love her and seem to want to go to war with her out there. Colome is a player that can gain a ton of attention this year with her talent level.
