[player_tooltip player_id='862299' first='Azauria' last='Wright'] - Denmark-Olar HS

Azauria looked at times to slash to the basket from the top of the key here today. She tends to play her best basketball around the basket. Azauria will hit the glass for putbacks. She plays the game with a good motor while running the floor very effectively.

[player_tooltip player_id='831267' first='Evie' last='Adams'] - St Joseph's Catholic

Adams a left-handed wing has seemed to grow a bit since we saw here last in the Upper State Championship Game vs Denmark-Olar HS. Today Evie was able to take a few defenders off the dribble from the wing today. She plays very comfortably out on the wing. Evie has good length and a nice stroke from behind the arc. Adams saw great minutes last season for the Lady Knights.

[player_tooltip player_id='429828' first='Kaleigh' last='Lucas'] - South Pointe HS

Lucas is jet quick at times with the ball in her hands and surely doesn't lack any confidence while on the floor. Kaleigh was the MVP of her Team 4 here at the event. Lucas likes to use the shiftiness with a steady crossover move at times to race by defenders. Kaleigh at times seems to be one step of her teammates while on the floor when it comes to passing the rock. She shoots the ball at a decent clip from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='987448' first='Savannah' last='Washington'] - John Paul II (Ridgeland)

Washington will play at the SCISA level this season down in the Lowcountry. Savannah took the ball coast to coast at times today. She must continue to work harder on the defensive end of the floor. Watch out for John Paul II to make some noise with a very young roster this coming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='925565' first='Samiah' last='Boatwright'] - Ashley Ridge HS

Samiah is very tough kid with a solid work ethic. She really plays hard on both ends of the floor. Boatwright shows to have good footwork. Samiah is going to be a good one in the years to come for the Lady Swamp Foxes.

[player_tooltip player_id='989360' first='Ailema' last='Land'] - South Pointe HS

Land really came to play here today. Ailema who plays for the Lady Stallions really looks to bully defenders to the basket. She plays the game as a physical guard. Ailema a left-handed guard uses her body well to initiate contact to the cup. She doesn't mind chatting it up and playing vocal. She plays the game with a bit of a old-school mindset.

[player_tooltip player_id='992816' first='Ameerah' last='Conyers'] - Manning HS

Ameerah is a very RAW Talent for the Lady Monarchs. Conyers is better off right now defensively down low. She will contest and alter shots on the defensive end. Ameerah will look to rebound the ball on both ends of the court. She will look to get some good minutes this season for the Lady Monarchs and Head Coach Justin Johnson.

[player_tooltip player_id='987449' first='Gia' last='Sakowicz'] - John Paul II (Ridgeland)

Gia is another piece to the John Paul II roster for this coming season. Sakowicz played a bit timid here at times today. She did connect on a few short jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='567024' first='Miracle' last='Cheeks'] - Greenville HS

Miracle made the move this summer to transfer over to the Lady Red Raiders. She currently played at Eastside HS. Miracle already has two full seasons of varsity basketball under her belt. Cheeks will use ball-screens to get to the basket at times. She seems to excel in the transition game and making plays in the open court. Miracle seems to have no problems scoring the ball at the rim. She was the MVP of her Team 5 here at the Carolinas Freshman Showcase.
