The PGH Expo: Team 4 Evaluations

Rilynn secured a defensive rebound pushed the ball in transition and blew by her defender to score a tough contested layup. She used a fake pass layup move to draw a foul and drilled a straightaway 3. Sophia buried a smooth triple in rhythm from the corner and moved well off the ball to find open space. Sophia grabbed a steal on defense and created separation from her defender with excellent balance off the dribble. She used her length to block a shot and anticipated the ball off the rim to secure an offensive rebound, then scored a left-handed floater off two feet. Sanyiah stole the ball and used a lightning-quick double crossover move to get by her defender for a full-court runout. Alix was feeling it from beyond the arc, hitting several triples from the wings and corners. She showed her quickness and determination attacking downhill to the basket and finishing in traffic. Tamia caught and finished a full-speed transition layup then elevated to convert another transition layup off two in transition. Tamia showed her range, drilling 3s from the wing and corner. Tamia played scrappy defense, swiping the ball away pressing in the backcourt, and scoring a layup off two. Annabelle was a challenge to box out because of her height and strength inside, she scored multiple offensive rebound putbacks. Annabelle showed her shooting touch by knocking down a mid-corner jumper and determination causing a held ball on defense. Taelyn pushed the ball with both hands in transition, screened for teammates, and anticipated a shot off the rim to secure an offensive rebound. She secured a defensive rebound, pushed the ball full-court, and then drop-stepped a smaller guard out of her way to earn free throws. Reece contested shots well with her closeouts and worked hard for offensive rebounds.
