This event was broadcasted on live TV by Fox 56 and was the first time the news station has ever aired something like this so I made sure to tune in. These preseason games were competitive and the players looked like they had fun playing in such a unique atmosphere. She worked hard to gain inside position for offensive rebounds and racked up a substantial amount of put back points by doing so. She hosted a block party on defense and seemed to get a hand on every shot that was in her reach. She also made good passes out the out the post, rebounded the ball well and was the first player in double figures for West Jess. She shot the ball with confidence and didn't hesitate to let it fly when she had an open look from deep. She dropped a dime in transition and had a nice rebound and put back that got her going. I like how she was disciplined enough to wall up on defense to stay out of foul trouble. She got going offensively in the second quarter with a tough scoop layup, then went coast to coast with the ball and demonstrated a sick behind the back crossover that led to a basket and the foul. Halle kept her foot on the gas in the second half and came away with a couple steals and showed off some incredible turn around jumpers in the post.
