The North Canadian River Conference consist of teams from classes 4a and 3a. Class 3a powerhouse Jones has dominated the conference over the past few years. To finish at the top this season it will be important to win every home conference game. It can make the difference where you sit at the end. Post those highlights and keep tagging me. X @coachjvick1 and follow IG @coach_jvick

Bethel (Class 3a) (18-12) State Quarterfinals Bethel will look to replace some major losses of players from last season State Tournament team but Bethel is a program that knows how to win and will have players waiting to represent the Lady Wildcats. Bethel returns 3 starters from last years team [player_tooltip player_id='574244' first='Ava' last='Gascon'], [player_tooltip player_id='574245' first='Lexi' last='Tucker'], and Bailey Tucker are the 3 returning starters off last season team. All three earned All Conference Honors last season. [player_tooltip player_id='574244' first='Ava' last='Gascon'] is a point guard that can shoot the deep 3. Ava will be asked again this season to provide that outside threat while handling the point. Layla Menhusen a junior returns after missing last season with a injury. Several players will be asked to step up and fill some roles this season. Do not let the lack of experience fool you . Coach Satterfield can coach and will have her girls playing hard.

North Rock Creek (Class 4a) (19-7) North Rock Creek returns 4 staters off last season team that won 19 games last season. Morgan Campbell Sarah Campbell, [player_tooltip player_id='847008' first='Kadence' last='Munn'] a very versatile guard that can shoot the outside shot. Really liked the way she attacked the paint. A player that makes thing happen. [player_tooltip player_id='773868' first='Addisen' last='Lawrence'] a very crafty lefty combo guard that can shoot the 3 and is tough on the defensive end. Several Sophomores saw valuable minutes last season as Freshman and will be counted on this season to provide some depth. Look for North Rock Creek to the mix for the conference title.

McLoud (Class 4a) *17-12) Area Mcloud returns 4 starters off last year's team that made Area. Mcloud has good size and quick guard play with plenty of depth coming off the bench. Three of the four starters were freshman last season they will great energy and experience this season. Sophomores: [player_tooltip player_id='1054461' first='Creighton' last='Conley'] a tough versatile combo guard earned Newcomer of the Year in the Conference last season returns. Chloe Mapira and Claire Mapira. (Mapiras twins) are quick at the guard spot providing a tough defensive back court. Junior Taycee Lewis is the other returning starter and at 5'10 will look to hold down the paint

New players and incoming freshman. [player_tooltip player_id='1266311' first='Daycie' last='Nemecek'] a 2027 and incoming freshman [player_tooltip player_id='1204972' first='Emma' last='Eslinger'] look to become important pieces to help Mcloud take a step further in playoffs this season.

Harrah (Class 4a) (13-12) The Lady Panthers return 6 players that saw major minutes last season.. Returners: [player_tooltip player_id='847033' first='Allison' last='Price'] a combo guard that record several double doubles last season. [player_tooltip player_id='574247' first='Sayler' last='Eaton'] a 3 point shooter that can get hot from the outside. [player_tooltip player_id='846989' first='Brooke' last='Robb'] combo guard that handled the point last season that should have more scoring opportunities this season at the 2 guard. Ashley Hamm one of 3 seniors showed scoring promise last season scoring a career high last season with 24 in a game. Audrianna Bear a very athletic small forward that can rebound among the trees.

Incoming freshman and Transfers: [player_tooltip player_id='955556' first='Paislee' last='Carter'] should have an immediate impact providing a depth at PG with Robb. A true point guard that has shooting range as well. Hannah Boughart is a 5'9 forward that can play inside and out. Both are outstanding 2028 prospects with promising futures for the Lady Panthers " [player_tooltip player_id='999605' first='Maggie' last='Vinson'] (2026) a forward that comes over from Luther where she posted several double double the past two seasons.

Tecumseh (4a) (15-11) Tecumseh returns no starters from last years' team. They could be the most unexperienced returning team in the conference which means what you see early in the season will not be the same when conference play starts in January. Junior guard Cadence Leba a starter from 2 season ago returns after missing last season with a injury. Senior Kaydee Lewis (6'2) will look to replace a All State in the post. Several others players will be looked upon to gain some quick experience and provide some depth. Janya Bruner a tough left hand forward showed great signs in the games I saw play last season. Kiarra Stalin, Alley Hill, Jaylie Anderson

Newcomer: [player_tooltip player_id='1097683' first='Peyton' last='Bays'] transfers in from Dale and looks to have a immediate impact on the program. A point guard that has handles and shoot the 3 at a high percentage rate. High IQ point that will look to compete for the starting position.

Jones (Class 3a) (22-5) State Semi Finals Jones will have a new coach for the first time in a few years but new head Coach Matthews looks to continue the success of the program. Karam Lewis a scrappy quick point guard and Kanzima Johnson a very versatile combo guard are the lone returning starters off last season team. Jentry Holbrook also received major minutes last season and will look to provide some depth to the lineup. Kite Higgins will be asked to provide some inside presence this year. Sophomore Katrina Johnson will also look to help at the guard spot as well.

Incoming Freshman and Transfers: Lydia Hall s shooting guard is sporting a different green this year transferring in from Edmond Santa Fe. Lydia has signed with OBU. Freshman Kaylee Long a guard could provide some depth at the guard spot.

Mount St. Mary's (Class 3a) (5-18) Coach James in his second year has added some much needed depth to go along with a strong senior class that has experience. Mount returns 3 starters off last season team. Sharp shooter and East Central University [player_tooltip player_id='315195' first='Kylie' last='Ross'] who surpassed the 1000 point mark last season returns. Sienna Easley who earned Honorable Mention last season has great size for a combo guard and has the capability of being a outside threat. Genevieve Holland a very talented volleyball player who has a long wing span that changes shots in the paint area.

Newcomers: Lundyn McGillbra and Jasmine Jesse presence transfers in and will have a immediate impact on the program.
