[player_tooltip player_id='567022' first='Madison' last='Vereen'] just a sophomore really plays the game active on both ends of the floor. She plays active in passing lanes and on the boards. Madison does a nice job of rebounding the ball well from her position. She can handle the rock up the floor in transition and locate an open teammate along the way. Madison with 10 points in the win today.

[player_tooltip player_id='825729' first='Nevaeh' last='Washington'] didn't put up huge numbers today in the win for the Lady Chiefs. Nevaeh really thrives at times playing on contact down in the paint and clearing out defenders. She generally stays down on the block and works both side of the paint with her back to the basket. Nevaeh is a UNSIGNED Senior.

Lions Beat Lady Swamp Foxes:

This game at times looked like a boxing match breaking out. Both teams played physical and shedded some blood along the way. Freshman guard [player_tooltip player_id='824826' first='Dazena' last='Capers'] was great today in the win. Capers surely plays the game with a good deal of confidence and swag for her young age. She finished with 19 points on a handful of layups in transition and jump shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='342513' first='Janiya' last='Richburg'] a UNSIGNED Senior finished with 10 points and a bunch of rebounds and a few bruises here today. Richburg is as tough as a $2 dollar steak at times with her play. The left-handed Richburg really lacks a true position on the floor. The one thing you do is make sure she is on the floor. She constantly brings hustle, effort and some floor burns night in and night out.

[player_tooltip player_id='569793' first='Jaeda' last='Davis'] a UNSIGNED Senior guard for the Marion HS Lady Swamp Foxes has to do a little bit of everything for her squad. Jaeda at times needs to show better selection on the floor. She's certainly has the green light to shoot ball. She is at her best when attacking the basket and playing fast up and down the court. Jaeda finished with 15 points in the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='569794' first='Maliyah' last='Williams'] a junior finished with 13 points in the loss to Loris HS. Williams shows to have active feet on the defensive side of the ball, and she really looks to work at it. Davis and Williams have to do a lot for this Lady Swamp Foxes to win games.

The Carolina Forest HS scored just 36 points in a win over Class 1A Lee Central HS. It was enough to defeat the Lady Stallions in a 36-20 win at the Carvers Bay Christmas Showcase. [player_tooltip player_id='355639' first='Miracle' last='Mclean'] a junior forward finished with 12 points in the Lady Panthers win. Miracle moves very well around the floor with her quick feet. She has the ability to alter and challenge shots on the defensive end of the floor. The long and agile McLean does a nice job of keeping the ball up high after claiming it off the glass.
