Breaking Down the Top 3A Teams

[player_tooltip player_id='379520' first='Natalie' last='Smith'] is one of the best post players in the state, regardless of class. Smith continues to impose her strength inside and get whatever she wants. She is one of the best rebounders! Natalie is one of the few athletes that can get her team a double-double on a nightly basis. Nitro also has [player_tooltip player_id='496344' first='Karson' last='Jones'] inside. Jones and Smith are a matchup nightmare for teams! This duo may be the best frontcourt athletes in the state! <br><br>Now, let's look at the guard play! [player_tooltip player_id='342224' first='Ava' last='Edwards'] is a guard that holds numerous offers to play at the next level. She's a true leader with elite court vision. She runs the point guard position the right way! Nitro also has [player_tooltip player_id='728687' first='Mika' last='Adams']! Adams is one of the scrappiest players that gets after it at all times! The team also has [player_tooltip player_id='728686' first='Brooklyn' last='Cawley'] and she is showing her confidence every night! The depth this team has with Steele, Sigmon, and Casto! Every player is ready when their number is called and the overall defense is fun to watch! Nitro has next level athletes that continue to play together! Do not be surprised if this team repeats as state champs! <br><br><strong>Greenbrier East - </strong>What East is doing this season is remarkable! They continue to compete hard and win! East remains undefeated and everyone knows that is not an easy feature to accomplish this far into the season! [player_tooltip player_id='496348' first='Kennedy' last='Stewart'] is playing the guard position better than most! She continues to control the tempo and put her team in position to win games! [player_tooltip player_id='656290' first='Ava' last='Workman'] is one of the best sophomores in the state! I love students of the game and Ava is a true student of the game. Workman continues to put up big numbers all across the stat sheet! Workman and Stewart are two young guards that are fun to watch! McClure is the do it all athlete that does whatever is needed! <br><br>Now, let's look at [player_tooltip player_id='764062' first='Jada' last='Waller'], [player_tooltip player_id='570494' first='Hannah' last='Fuller'] and Banton. Waller is one of the most versatile athletes in the state. She's athletic and can guard numerous positions! East will need Fuller to continue to play huge! The unsung hero on the team is the minutes that [player_tooltip player_id='1220928' first='Sandy' last='Banton'] provides them! Banton is a fierce defender that continues to play exceptionally well! Keep your eyes on this East team and do not be surprised if/when you see them in the state championship game!<br><br><strong>Wayne - </strong>I love watching this Wayne team! Wayne has a strong leadership in D1 commit, [player_tooltip player_id='379522' first='Brooke' last='Adkins']! Adkins excels in the mid-range game. She continues to use her length exceptionally well. Brooke is one of the savviest athletes on the court at all times. She is a great two-way player! Twin sister [player_tooltip player_id='379526' first='Addie' last='Adkins'] (Concord volleyball commit) continues to help put her team in position to win games. She's efficient and another tough match up for smaller athletes! [player_tooltip player_id='722021' first='Jaycelyn' last='Sammons'] is the sensational sophomore! Sammons continues to get it done on both sides of the court. [player_tooltip player_id='388347' first='Mikayla' last='Stacy'] is having a breakout senior season! Stacy and numerous athletes on this Wayne team can light it up fast from outside the arc! <br><br>The senior leadership can take this Wayne team to the state championship! There is so much to love about this Wayne team and every athlete on it!<br><br>When looking into all 3 of these teams, you notice that all of them have numerous next level athletes! In my opinion, we will see one of the above teams win the state championship!<br><br>However, one can't forget teams like Grafton, Keyser, East Fairmont, and Sissonville.<br><br>The Triple A class is full of talent!
